I loved dying my hair platinum blonde but I finally stopped recently and now I have healthy hair but I miss the blonde. Decided it's cheaper in the long run to just buy a wig.

I can't tell if this is satire or not. It looked better before you touched it. The bangs were SO crooked, from EVERY angle, and basically just glued to the forehead. The cut was not only choppy instead of layered or feathered, it was screwed and you HAD to curl it to trick the eye. It was an absolutely mid job that any wig novice could achieve. So...

Working on synthetic wigs is very difficult unless you take your time and know what you're doing. This could have definitely been done so much faster and easier.

It went from a $18 wig from Amazon to a $5 wig from FiveBelow - yes.

"I've never actually worked with a wig with a fake scalp." I am curious how you procure wigs with "real" scalps? What company performs the grusome hunt for "real" scalps to attach to fake or human hair??? Do they do the dirty deed themselves, with no fear of accusations of cultural appropriations from Native Americans?? Or have they acquired a contract with an Apache, Pubelo or Cheyenne expert??

This is my exact hair color 😮 i have more of a black/purple balyage going tho and rhe purple is a darker plum, but still. I guess ita good because now i dont have to go through all this with a wig. 😂

So were the teeth on the shedding scissors on the top or on the bottom? How long did you have to steam the wig? How long did you have to keep the rollers on the wig? It came out great! It would just be nice if you could fill in the blanks please.

Cosplayer here! I learned a lot of tricks to help work restyling wigs depending on if it's heat resistant or not. Wigs like this (not heat resistant) hairdryers, foam curl wraps (using steam to set) and steam work amazing (as well as using certain ethnic products). Heat resistant definitely give you more options for use of heat tools with them. The cheaper wigs do take more effort at times but to start of for learning they're worth it!

I'm replacing some of my older cheap wigs with lace front heat resistant now that I have the knowledge I do.

I need a week because my hair fell out and I'm having side effects really horrible side effects with the hair growth so meds so you are absolutely stunning and I'm excited cuz I'm spending a lot of money on weeks and I don't like any of them I think it's a self-esteem issue from the inside and I loved my blonde bob that I had before and I think I'm just not happy because it's not my own hair and I definitely want synthetic wigs I don't want human hair wigs are freaking me up
