Netflix: ‘The Forgotten Battle’ (will break your heart, features Tom Felton, is a war film)
Apple TV: ‘Invasion’ (it’s one of my all time favorites, the director of this show also produced ‘The Martian’, if you really like multiple storylines and the end of the world TV shows, you’ll really like this one)

Netflix: derry girls, the it crowd, disenchantment, matroschka,
Disney plus: only murders in the building

As a film student, I advise all the cinema lovers here to avoid watching movies on streaming platforms even if they are convenient for the simple reason that they use filter that modify the quality of the image so that the file of the movie becomes lighter. Watch movies in theaters (yes you can also watch old movies in theaters) or in DVD, it's better if you enjoy the qualities of a good movie :)

PS: I'm not saying that nobody SHOULD watch movies on streaming platforms, my advice is that yous should avoid it if possible.

a show recommendation from disney+ would definitely be Daredevil!! it used to be on netflix but recently got moved (cause its marvel) its definitely worth watching and in my opinion my favorite marvel show!! its about a blind man who’s also a lawyer and fights crime, the action and dialogue is very good :)

so here are also some recommendations :
Netflix : - Dark (it's a German show, a lot of time traveling mind fuck, the first two episodes you think it's a horror show but believe me it absolute isn't, dark gloomy vibe, you really have to pay attention, every detail is important)
- the OA (also a lot of mind fuck, supernatural elements)
- young royals (typical high school show, but with a prince, LGBTQ+ main couple)
- julie and the phantoms (originally a kids show, but I love it, musical series, ghost band)
- lock & key (family moves to a new town, supernatural stuff going on)

Disney : - the owl house (animated "kids show", a lot of LGBTQ+ representation)

prime: - the legend of vox machina (animated show for adults, based of a D&D campaign)
- panic (show about teenagers which have to play a life threatening game to win money (not horror))

over the garden wall over the garden wall OVER THE GARDEN WALL

Netflix - Derry Girls, Anne with an E, On My Block, Young Royals, and Teenage Bounty Hunters
Hulu - PEN15, Reservation Dogz, and Golden Girls (not underrated but still a great show)
HBO Max - Sort Of and The Righteous Gemstones

the book station eleven is one of my favorites of all time! it has some pretty big differences from the show, but i think that they are both amazing in their own right.
