Any pokemon that wasnt already a 3 stage pokemon or legendary should just have been a straight up evolution. I mean obvious one on that is banette and dusclops were counterparts so mega banette should be an evo with same BST as Dusknoir but obviously more offensive based

megas were so great because most of them were popular and fan favorites so for the most part your favorite pokémon could really become your signature/ace with a extra push. at least my perspective as a swampert, scizor, salamence, sableye, aggron and blastoise fan as a kid

Mega Aerodactyl got Tough Claws as its ability. The same as Mega Metagross. It never got Strong Jaw. Tough Claws powered up all moves that made contact by 30 percent. Intimidate was indeed what ruined Mega Aerodactyl.

I'm obviously 2-3 years late, but I'm just getting into Pokémon, and from what I'm seeing/hearing, S and A tiers are the OP Mega's people talk about whereas B and C tiers are Balanced and D tiers are just not good.
