Eurovision 2024 - Final Top 26 by Average Places (Jury / Televote split results)

A couple of notes here:

I counted bottom 6 jury places instead of bottom 5 to kinda "even" things, as I consider top 25 of televoting but top 26 of juries. So, this "bottom line" begins from the same place in jury and televote rankings.

I put here the results in points in the televoting but didn't with jury voting just not to mix things up, as I consider Netherlands in the jury top (if we count points for them, all the other points will be different too).

Number 11th-13th places are here just to see how many times the countries were too close to getting more points.

Rest of the World is not considered here at all as we don't know the full ranking of it, it wasn't even accidentally published as last year

Jury really all focused on switzerland france and portugal and ignoring all the other amazing vocalists that we have had this year slovenia, georgia, serbia, latvia, (ig israel but ik why they downvoted her)

The result from Georgia is really a disgrace. I can't say anything about the televoting result, but the fact that the jury rated Nutsa so poorly is really strange, she definitely should have finished ahead of Kaleen and Silia. But you can see in some countries that the jury is not always objective, e.g. Slovenia and Serbia.

That Croatia putting switzerland in 11-13th explains a lot

With this system, Croatia might actually won. Can't believe Croatia was 2nd in the juries.
Also Albania scoring Norway high was not surprising since that's the kind of entries they send lol

Estonia putting netherlands last is peak irony

Serbian jury was so jealous of Raiven cause there is no way you would rank dead last a song that is sang in a language that is very similar to your own mother tongue.

Nemo's results are incredible, this was not an obvious song and jury as well as televoters appreciated the risk and their vocals.
I think Raiven was a little too arty for the juries and the public so I'm so happy she reached the final. Also glad that Teya Dora, Iolanda and Dons slipped in there too.
The level this year was very good. So to me the results don't matter and the top 4 is sublime.

Croatia should have won

The UK was 23rd in televote's average ranking but got 0 points while Slovenia and Portugal were lower than the UK in average ranking but still got points is really wild lol 🤣 if that's not icon behaviour I don't know what is lol 😂 Raiven and Iolanda were in the bottom in the televote's rankings more than Olly but they managed to earn points because some countries put them in their top 10, while none of the countries put Olly in their top 10, in fact, he wasn't even close to get points when his highest placement was 14th 😅

Heartbroken that Slovenia did so badly. Raiven is so talented and even if the song isn't everyone's cup of tea, I think its strange that the juries didn't give this more points, at least for the vocals. But I'm not surprised at the low televote scores (tho I didn't expect it to be THAT bad). The same goes to Georgia, who also gave one of the best performances in my opinion.

When we look back to the years between 2019 and 2023, that was a good result for us german.
