Hey Y'all! We have said before math is not our strong suit. Some of you may catch that our trailer load of wood was miscalculated.
12 feet x 6 feet x 18 inches is 108 cubic feet which is equivalent to 0.84375 cord of firewood, so just under a true cord 🤓
Thanks for tuning in!

Why did you decide to move?
ОтветитьCould I suggest with those stubborn "T" posts that just won't come out (in Australia we call them Star Pickets) try driving them a little deeper, then try to pull them out again.. It helps because it breaks up the soil which is stuck to the post. But in this case it wouldn't have helped..
ОтветитьLove your content, you guys rock!
ОтветитьYou have a trailer 6'x12'x2' est., which is 144 sqft. A cord of wood is 4x4x8, or 128 sqft., so you have 1.12 cord of wood (theorectically...).
ОтветитьMy guess on the amount of wood is four cords.
ОтветитьWhy get rid of the chopped wood... isn't having dried wood a benefit for the next owners since the house is wood heated?
ОтветитьI binge watched going back a year. I got hooked watching you build the coop and hoop for the chickens..so I'm caught up I think..
ОтветитьAre you selling the old place?
Ответитьwouldnt the place be easier to sell complete with runs, gardens and gates? paint buildings and clean up overgrowth.?
?
Oh I feel you on the hawk part. We didnt have problem for almost 2 yrs. Our chickens were free range until the ravens were devouring our older chicks, 19 out of 34 killed. It was hard because I had to deal with it alone because Hubby were out of town. And they kept coming back and steal our eggs too(our bantam rooster is not really good at protecting the place, LOL). We decided to put the net poultry over. They(4 of them) tried to break the netting, they had no luck. It’s been few months now since it happened but they still keep coming back from time to time.
Ответить7 cords
ОтветитьWhy not leave everything there, maybe the next people could use it……
ОтветитьHOW MANY ACRES AND HOW MUCH YOU PLAN TO SELL THAT PROPERTY
Ответитьit hurt my soul watching you guys throw that wood out. is rotting wood useless when it starts rotting?
ОтветитьGood bye little property hello big property hello new world bright and promising with more adventures to share you guys are awesome 😎 😎😎
ОтветитьWhy are you taking everything down? Are you selling the property?
ОтветитьI went on a solid journey to determine what those birds were near the end. White-winged Crossbill! Such a unique bird
ОтветитьBirch, 1,400 lbs....
ОтветитьPoor bandit is going to have to start over on his pond.
Ответить😍😍
Ответить144 cubic feet or 1.125 cords.
Ответить2 to 2.5 cord. is my guess I was not even close. LOL
ОтветитьI missed it. What caused yall to move?
ОтветитьThree cores
Ответитьfor a good garlic harvest you need to fertilize with ash
ОтветитьI’m so sad seeing this cleared. Have you guys sold the property?
ОтветитьHard to leave all that sweat earned garden soil- but, yeah, don't take the weeds.
Ответить2400 lbs
ОтветитьOne or two barrels on a 3 point hitch hookup for behind the tractor can give you good ballast. Either fill them with concrete or fill them when needed with whatever(would make it lighter to haul).
ОтветитьWhat is the plan. For the old homestead?
ОтветитьOur going to sell that place?
ОтветитьExciting new chapter
ОтветитьSeems like it would have been easier to leave the fence for the next owners
ОтветитьI missed why you are tearing up the garden. I can see taking the green house by why plough it over. Let grow at will.
ОтветитьDon’t forget the stainless steel island. That thing has some good memories.
ОтветитьOur you two going to add on to your new house..I hope so there's not a lot about adding on to a log cabin on utube 😊😊😊
ОтветитьHighly recommend additional transmission cooler ,oil cooler, upgrade radiator.
ОтветитьApril 9th 2018 congratulations Americans🎉🧢🤘😎👍🇺🇸
ОтветитьWhat to say? I loved seeing the old property again. :) I'm gl!ad that you were able to save so much to reuse, and seeing everything getting cleaned up so well! Lovely job, as always, you two!
What were those beautiful birds at the end? I didn't remember seeing them before.. :)
What about the house on the lake?
ОтветитьWhy moving on...need more space??
ОтветитьSince you are a cement user, why not make a concrete counter weight for the tractor to use when you don’t have the backhoe attached?
ОтветитьGreat, good job 👏
ОтветитьI probably missed this in an earlier video but are you all selling the old property?
Ответитьthat, ladies and gentlemen is good ol sweat equity!
ОтветитьWish I had thought to salvage what i had put in to my place before selling, the next people tore it all down and it's still sitting in a pile😢
