ОтветитьThere's supposedly a bunch of Sargassum headed towards Florida you can use it as food and antibiotics for free food free antibiotics for pigs.🎉
ОтветитьI’m curious how much feed per pig you are calculating for the life of each pig. I’ve seen 700-900 lbs per pig several places online. I’m curious what you are seeing for pasture raised pigs. Thanks for the videos!
ОтветитьWhy sell a pig off the farm after receiving antibiotics? I know antibiotic free meat is highly advertised these days, but doesn’t the pig wind up in the food chain eventually anyway? I’m just curious. Seems like antibiotics would be unavoidable at times that sickness happens and humane treatment of the pig is necessary. Just trying to understand and I am not a farmer.
ОтветитьWould it help if the wood trough was more narrow decreasing the pigs impulse to try and get into feeder?

The swine's genus name Sus is Latin for swine while its species name scrofa means sow and was based on an ever sow specimen in King Adolf Fredrik of Sweden's cabinet of natural curiosities. Its subspecies name domesticus means domestic. By ever, I mean a wild "boar" and that word came from the Old English word eofor, which was the usual word for an ever or wild "boar" in that language. Cabinet in that sense means a museum or small room. Can you believe that?
ОтветитьFantastic video. Thank you
ОтветитьIt is a MUST to feed the pigs corn and soy? I understand that it's probably the easiest way to feed as many pigs as you have, but what if I only have 2 to 4 pigs per year?
