The question is, which came first, the alcoholism or the spouse losing interest ? Yes, she certainly needs rehab or AA, wonder how many attempts, if any, were made to convince her she needs help. The home suggests a former comfortable lifestyle, which explains the $ 14K child support, but it does look a little bare. Are money woes part of the factor as well ?

All of the enabling commenters creating a climate of sympathy for this drunken lowlife are a perfect example of the main reason as to why women get away with this. It is not "sad". No one should feel sorry for them. And, these trash women could not care less about "help". They are *bad*. They are garbage. They are poisonous in a million ways to everyone who has to have them intersect their lives. They need to be ostracized by society, wherever possible. Instead, people feed the problem with love, understanding and support. You are not helping. At all.

Cant help some people. Women especially sad. Saw a woman's decline over ten year period from booze. Destroyed a man's business stealing cash/booze while destroying herself. No one could stop her. Detox/Hospitals/Court just interrupted her drinking. Walk away....
