ОтветитьHis first song I heard was SCUTTLE BUTTIN can you imagine how I was blown away!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
Ответить“gravel over honey singing voice” could not have explained that shit any better
ОтветитьI had a very good friend as a teenager who utterly made me into a proper player. We both loved SRV. .my friend could play all the srv stuff .. I couldn’t .. but that influence is soo in my playing to this day. I’m 51!
Not everyone can play like SRV. .. but omg.. EVERY guitarist should aspire to his brilliance!
I love Stevie Ray Vaughn. I hate helicopters.
ОтветитьStill makes me cry every time I watch it
ОтветитьIMO, one the top 5 guitarists of all time! Gone way to soon😢
ОтветитьI’ve always thought J Mayer had a slight- very slight- SRV quality in his voice. SRV light.
ОтветитьNews of his death actually stopped me in my tracks.. I couldn't believe it.
ОтветитьHis whole look,srv one of a kind.❤
ОтветитьSRV was the best to ever do yes there are damn good ones out there but stevie it looked so natuarl he made that crap look easy

ОтветитьHoney over gravel is the best explanation of his voice I've eve heard.
Ответитьdrugs didn't kill him, air transport did it...f! choppers
ОтветитьHey Genius what about part 2 . Guess you are to BUSY Posting VIDEOS or K.D LANG.
ОтветитьWhat a shame that such an egomaniacal poser hack would be asked to introduce one of the greatest guitarist of all time. RIP SRV, Love and miss you :(
ОтветитьJim
ОтветитьHendrix n SRV are the best ive ever heard. And BB king tbf
ОтветитьSo much Integrity in John Mayer's speech !
ОтветитьI don't see Double Trouble?!
ОтветитьGod, I miss him
ОтветитьDamn fine speech John.
ОтветитьThis was well said. Thanks to John.
ОтветитьWalking a Tightrope in heaven🎸
ОтветитьThere are certain songs that, from that first note, you can't reach over and crank that radio to warp drive fast enough. Everything Stevie ever played was like that. I saw Stevie in concert twice, once before and once after he quit drugs. John Mayer is right, he did get even better. Nobody thought getting better was humanly possible yet there it was. That second concert, BB King was his warm up. I totally thought that was backwards and sacrilegious until I heard them play. I really miss Stevie. There is nothing like the sound of a cranked up strat in the hands of a guitar hero.
ОтветитьJohn Mayer, thank you for giving accolades to SRV’s band members, he couldn’t make it without them, they seem to be forgotten, but you didn’t, thank you!
ОтветитьWhen SRV got accolades from the Blues Legends, dead or alive, , BB King, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, you knew that you made it!
Ответить"Gravel over honey"-voice❤
ОтветитьI agree with everything, but only that i love stevie more than meyer does
ОтветитьYeah your about 25 years too late
Ответить❤❤❤FROM A GUITAR MASTER TO ANOTHER BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, A BEAUTIFUL SOUL TO ANOTHER❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe Best!
ОтветитьEpic
ОтветитьStill in LOVE with him... 1st time I saw him on TV I was... WHAT... what... w...h...a....TTTTTTTT
ОтветитьWell, hearing the comments about Stevie, people from Texas are very "passionate" so what else can I say😂❤
ОтветитьChristine ‘’KingFish ‘’ Ingram this young man is awesome he can make a guitar sing , dance , and some more loved some Stevie Vaughan too .😅😅😅😅😅😅😊
ОтветитьI miss SRVs playing so much, he was a true guitar god! 🤘🏻
ОтветитьStevie's number one guitar is still in therapy😂 the guitar was violated
ОтветитьGrew up to start playing the guitar at 14 or so, and if i ever get to be 1/16th of the guitarist he was, ill be happy. RIP Stevie. you gave us all a master class on blues.
Ответитьso much of this sounded like johns autobiography, no wonder he connected to stevie so deeply. they have almost the same story
