Imagine a super rich NBA G league team owner convinced Lebron James $200mill to play in the G league instead of NBA. Would you pay money to watch him play against minor league players in minor league arenas with minor league attendance? Me neither........but good for Lebron I guess.
ОтветитьFootball aside, I can't imagine living in Saudi Arabia or anywhere in Gulf countries must be very enjoyable. Sometimes all the money of the world still isn't worth it. The Saudi league is so mediocre that even locals do not watch it which tells us about the popularity and quality of this league.
ОтветитьIts failings because it's a shit league
ОтветитьWhy? Like everything over there it's figuratively and literally built on sand
Ответить"the slow and incessant march towards my own death". Watching Hull does that to people.
Ответитьdo coverage on Asian Cup that held in Qatar and paying attention to their path into champions. you out here chatting shite about Saudi for almost an hour, while witnessing FIFA corruption daily.
the state of Football & their double standart 🗑️
my guy made 40 minutes long talking about something that he hated. so pathetically obsessed 😂
Ответитьi didn't watch the video, but seeing the comment alone tells everything about European Fans 😂 the jealousy. first it was Prem, now it Saudi. it not just messi v ronaldo thing.
ОтветитьLooks to me like all Saudis have accomplished is giving back the money some peeps spent on gas/petrol 😂
Ответитьless than 1000 fans average for Henderson's club
ОтветитьMate you are young Alan partridge
ОтветитьI will be here with god’s will in 5 years & again in 10 years taunting this channel about wishful thinking & predictions about the Saudi league
ОтветитьAt this point, I am 100% sure there is a file about Alfie in some table in Saudi Arabia alongside a bunch of other files about political-focused journalists. Stay safe and do not go anywhere near the Middle East.
ОтветитьIf you ask yourself why Saudi wants to invest on most popular sport. It might be fear of future generations of other Muslims country which fade on thier believes.
ОтветитьIt´s transferred there because of the money, you can´t just have a sport on steroids = money. Football belongs in England, Spain, Italy and countries like Germany and the samba South America.
ОтветитьSaudi league was really more entertaining before all the AL- Saud money
ОтветитьI think Saudi Arabia has come a long way in recent times and things are improving in terms of rights. One example is that women can now drive. I have also seen men and women going to the same restaurants and cafes together. The Saudis seem to really love stand up comedy too. The country is liberalising however the pace of change is still quite slow.
ОтветитьNo football history,no football culture and no idea just loads of money they should stick to camel racing
ОтветитьJust posted a critical post regarding the Saudis.. It just dissappeared..
ОтветитьI would not rule them out yet, they still have plenty cash to bribe the desicionmakers.. not long before we have an arabic team in CL and the final will be played in a desert somewhere
ОтветитьNo-one wants to watch it or pay for TV subscriptions 😉
ОтветитьDid it ever get built up in the first place? Its like a 5th tier league with Cristiano there for some reason
ОтветитьIt is going places. They had Undertaker come out. People will watch it and itll be like a top 4 league in a few years.
ОтветитьGreat content as always. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьBillions for 3rd division Scottish football.
ОтветитьThis is a league where players can make buckets of money for a few more games before retiring.
ОтветитьThe thing is if you go in Saudi to play you just do it for the money, there is no other reason. There is no stake, winning or losing is whatever and meaningless, no legacy or passion, stadiums half empty, life is super limited for obvious reasons in a place that has nothing other than plastic luxury entertainment and desert. It's a lot to sacrifice for just money
ОтветитьBoth very interesting and informative, thank you!
ОтветитьFootballers who moved there found out that they don't just enjoy high wages, they need their booze, parties and ho's as well. Whatever one thinks of the Saudi Pro League, it does not exactly reflect well on the footballers.
ОтветитьI love that FIFA and others saying "oh we have to put competitions on other regions. Football is not exclusive for Europe and South America". The bullshit about qatar 2022, that middle eastern people also love football.
Is not exclusively to western countries but those, as it seems, are the ones who love the game for what it is, passion qnd love for tgeir club/city/region.
You can't buy passion!
Just shows that soccer is overpaid and the players have no incentive to play good anymore.
ОтветитьMessi fans after losing 6-0:
ОтветитьI mean... when one of the main complaints from players is the traffic in Riyadh. Maybe... idk... it is time to invest in infrastructure and public transport... at the very least, to keep the plebs out of the rich peoples way...
Also, when you said " Kill 2 critics with one sword" I immediately thought of how long must the sword have been... didn't even realised it was a joke.
At least Gerrards living arrangement, working in Saudi (Khobar/Dammam) and living in Bahrain is nothing special, as the commute is not necessary longer than living in country. It is practised by thousands like him. And Bahrain is the nicest place to live for westerners in the region. 😊
ОтветитьPRAISE THE LORD JESUS somebody not afraid to use satiric bite where due
ОтветитьHorrible country, horrible league
ОтветитьMLS is slightly better than the Guatemalan league.
ОтветитьSaudi league is so contrived: like going to watch a game in a kitschy shopping mall; Lame, plastic and fakely indulgent. barfff
ОтветитьWhy are you bending reality?
ОтветитьThis video is short-sighted to say the least
ОтветитьWow. One of the most dower narration I’ve heard.
ОтветитьLens is pronounced as lance not len
Ответитьthat Eddie Howe joke was brilliant. burst
Ответить"No bro, the Saudi league is the next big thing, trust me bro, trust me".
ОтветитьBut but but, Ronaldo fan boys said his influence will make it huge
ОтветитьYou hate Saudi for whatever reason. That being said, it’s an hour to Bahrain for players at Ettifaq and Khaleej. That’s the time most players already drove to practice and games… Bahrain just has a more liberal environment.
Ответитьدوري الاموال
ОтветитьShowing an Arab restaurant with Arabs, albeit probably in Turkey, when saying that you went to a Turkish restaurant. Genuine question, are you a moron?
ОтветитьI don’t understand how you haven’t bought a new mic yet😅
