The stubborn pharaoh of the Exodus was either Amenhotep II or Thutmose IV. The Aten Revolution was the fallout of the Exodus.

The Japanese invaded Burma in January of 1942 and eventually cut off rice and other exports to India. When weather and water shortages, combined with Japanese disruption and population growth, caused a famine in Bengal, in 1943, Churchill sent ships with food relief, which the Japanese deliberately targeted and sank. So Churchill sent more food. It was called World War 2, if you didn't know.

كمصري رمسيس الثاني ليس فرعون الخروج، ما تقوم به الجماعات اليهودية هو ترديد لكلام الكتاب المقدس بدون اي دليل أو اكتشافات اركيولوجية .

As an Egyptian, we learn that both the exodus and moses don't exist in written ancient Egyptian history, and of course ramses ii was not that king of the exodus.

That doesn't necessarily mean he didn't have Hebrew slaves. What if he simply didn't want people to know he had slaves and lost them?

Honestly Ramesses II is probably my favorite Pharaoh just because of how entertaining he is. His correspondences with other kings is honestly more fun to read than his propaganda. I think he definitely had major (and I mean MAJOR) problems, but I think it would be unfair to only paint him as a liar without any merits of his own.

If they read the comment's, feel like an excellent video and topic for this series would be Emperor Hirohito.

A lot of people want to paint him as some helpless ruler, but true are the statements in the grand scheme of the pacific theater and invasion of china.

I think the greatest irony of Ramses is that his potential involvement with the first Abrahamic religion set up the other 2 to eventually gain permanent footholds in Egypt within the next 2000 years. Islam and Coptic Orthodox Christianity are the 2 most followed religions in Egypt.

I would like to say that tearing down existing structures to reuse the materials is nothing new, nearly every culture with enough ruins has done this, it's simply more convenient to refurbish pre-made bricks rather than make your own from scratch. Egypt, with its long history, saw this happen many times, from Egyptian pharaohs to Islamic sultans.

Ramses II was a shameless self promoter. Yes, the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt equated themselves to Gods. So did the Caliphs of the Islamic Empires, European Monarchs of Middle Ages, Emperors of Rome, and Kings of Greek City States. A lot of the arguments presented in this video are pointless. The faults of Ramses II is the faults of humanity. What is true is that the Christian-Hebrew Monotheist Text claim that Seti I and Ramses II used Jewish slaves to build their pyramids. This is an obvious lie as Seti I and Ramses II were buried in tunnels and burial chambers in the Valley of the Kings. By the end of the Middle Kingdom of Pharaonic Egypt the Egyptians were using mud bricks to build pyramids not the 1 ton stones of the Giza Pyramids. By the New Kingdom (of which Seti I and Ramses II were rulers) the Ancient Egyptians had gone to digging hidden tunnels and burial chambers to hide Pharaoh's burial site. Pharaonic Egypt was so long ago we simply do not know what was going on. Cleopatra (Greek Ptolemy) is closer to our present time than she was with the Pharaohs who built the 3 Great Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. The Giza Pharaohs ruled during the Old Kingdom of Pharaonic Egypt. That is how ridiculously old the Ancient Egyptians are. It is almost impossible for us to comprehend. Most Americans do not even care and do not remember what happened 250 years ago in America let alone 3500-4600 years ago in North Africa. Egyptians had forgotten their own Pharaonic history. Egyptians had forgotten how to read hieroglyphs. It took a Frenchman, Champollion, to decipher Pharaonic hieroglyphs from the Rosetta Stone. So much of human history is forgotten or thrown away because we do not value what human beings have learned through the ages. The great achievements of the Ancient World demonstrate the important lessons for us all.

To be fair, even Jewish biblical scholars have explicity explained over and over again to people that the stories of exudos are this magical thing called an "alagory".
It wasn't even a consistant jewish tradition until the second temple period, as it's completely absent from the northern kingdom/Kingdom of Israel literature all together. What is believed by /some/ scholars is that some of the peoples of the Kindgom of Judah (which is where the Moses story is found in literature) might have had some descendents of the Hyksos, who were expelled from Egypt around the time that the story is now believed to take place. Which is NOT during Ramses lifetime, but around 1550bce.
