Orim's Prayer is sadly only one potential trigger per combat. Patron of the Kitsune might be the effect you were thinking of.

Amalia is not a life gain commander or a vultron commander. In any decent pod there will be a response before you get to 20 counters (unless you start with the soul sisters, then you have a chance). She is a reanimate commander. She has a very good self-mill/dig ability, abuse that. Put your lands to hand, keep your life good gain things on top, bin everything else and bring them back when the time is right.

Cleric Class would go great, enchantment for one white, that gives you one extra life whenever you gain life, then pay 3 and one white to upgrade to give a +1/+1 counter to a creature whenever you gain life, it can really speed up this commander. And last but not least, pay 4 and one white to bring a creature from graveyard to battlefield and gain life equal to it toughness.

I built my Amalia as a lifegain/+1/+1 counters deck. The ozolith for me was a must include as i can keep counters from creatures that die or i sac and then dump them on to Amalia as i see fit to trigger her 20 power boardwipe ability. The counter inclusion also lets me run Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher as a secret commander in the deck too as i pulled both commanders at pre-release.

i've been looking for a Lifegain focused deck

I wanted to buil her ever since she was spoiled. I have several version of her on Moxfield now but am still in the middle of fine tuning them before I actually buy the cards. I might actually proxy them first, just to get a feeling of how she plays because I get the feeling I won't like it as I think she is disgusting af..,

Can you please do a full budget deck tech for Ojer Kasleem, Deepest Growth? I have built this deck and want to see what I am missing for budget adds. With the commander I am at $60

instead of paradise plume, tablet of the guilds is ALOT better, cost 2 mana, lets you choose two colors and whenever you cast a spell of the chosen colors, you gain a life for each color :) it just won't give you the mana but more chances of life gain in a two-color deck.

My experience with playing with decks that have life gain matters themes are not great, hopefully someone has fun, but this style is not my cup of tea, due to poor experience.

I got her from the prerelease I went to and built her around soul sisters + using her explore to get stuff into my graveyard to reanimate. I think that's probably more effective than basically just going for lifegain voltron.

I pulled this as my prerelease promo. I probably would have had more success at prerelease if I played it...! Lol, hopefully I have the success when playing it as a commander though!
