Do you recommend rinsing the rice for either hair or skincare? Most other people do recommend the double rinse. Thanks!

I actually improved my hair by doing these: Having more and more Vitamin C from lemon, orange, kiwi, 8 hours of adequate sleep daily, consume nuts such as walnut, peanut, almonds in limited, you can also have fish like sardines, salmon. Exercise at least 30 mins everyday. Using mild, pure shampoo, oil, neem wood comb, massager for scalp by liitleextra coconion twice a week. All this is good to control hair fall.

I've had excellent results in growing hair with castor oil scalp treatments. I know it's just anecdotal, but I have no doubt that it helps hair grow. Castor oil contains Ricinoleic acid, which inhibits prostaglandin D2 synthase (PGD2). PGD2 is implicated in hair loss and is elevated in the scalps of people with androgenic alopecia.

From my personal experience, castor oil massaged into the scalp and left on for 2+ hours (the longer the better), has to be used at least 3 times per week to get good results. I have tried many hair growth treatments, both natural and "unnatural," and have found castor oil to be among the best. The only issue is that it is time consuming and it must be used frequently and cconsistently.

All hair growth treatments take a long time to see results, and a lot of people stop using a treatment before it has had time to work. No matter which treatment(s) you use, you should give it at least four months (and up to six months) to determine whether it's having an effect.

Rice Water DOES HELP grow hair! I use Rice Water 1x weekly and it did help with hair strength! I soak 1c of rice & 6c of water(bra length hair). I soak the mixture for 24 hour, drain the rice, pour water over my hair 5xs in BIG BOWL! I leave this mixture on overnight in a scrunchy 👍

I know for myself I make a rice water by taking 2 cups of sticky rice and cleaning into 4 cups filtered water for 20-30 minutes (I rinse first to get off the dirt). I then take the water (not the rice - that gets cooked for eating 😅) to the stove in a pot and add organic rosemary, organic grapefruit rinds and seeds, cloves, organic peppermint tea, green tea, he shou wu tea and peppermint oil to the water and boil for a couple minutes then cover with a lid and let cool. I then strain the water and use to make my shampoo (1/2 castile soap to 1/2 this water) and then rinse after with this water. I also a couple times per week do an apple cider vinegar rinse and once per week either add seabuckthorn, jojoba or rosehip oil to my hair for an oil mask for an hour (then I shampoo out). My hair has never been healthier. 👍

With your recipe your video is great BUT the actual recipe isn’t what you stated, there’s other ingredients such as Fo-ti and tea bran. For example, there has been studies done on Fo-ti and hair regrowth. These are both topical(which is of more benefit) and oral which to a westerner the oral can be a little scary. Even the pomelo peel(or grapefruit) is beneficial to scalp and hair. I guess to do a more fair comparison, you’d have to look at the actual ingredients used. Also it’s fermented, which changes the active ingredients and how they function.

It seems a lot of westerners don't know how to cook rice. Unless you're cleaning rice, if you're soaking it while cooking, there shouldn't be any rice water left. The rice is supposed to absorb it, if there's water left, the rice is either uncooked or you put too much water, regardless the rice is destroyed and can't be eaten and should be thrown away. You don't strain rice.

If it makes hair grow on head it only stands to reason that it would grow more or faster facial hair if used on face.

At one point, my hair never grew past a certain length. I noticed my friends hair growth (thought she had extensions) and she told me about rice water. I started it daily and I swear by it, my hair grew quicky! My hairdresser was surprised as well. I will tell you, the smell is horrid, but it definitely worked for me.
