How to Sign In (Log In) HBO MAX App on TV

The way they make you sign in to your tv is beyond moronic

Most difficult app make it functional. If you want to just view the app on your phone it's good. But if you want to view the app on the phone and TV it's a game changer. You will need to change your password like 2 times from your email address because the app doesn't register it properly and when they send you the confirmation code it takes like 3-5 minutes for them to send it to you. Also the verification code is hiding it isn't the one on the text so you must quickly glance at the code at the top of your phone screen and memories it quickly before your phone hides it. Then you can create the account. But if you want your TV also in the account you need to choose a cable provider not a sign in. And they will ask you for your cable provider email and password. Then idk what's next because I don't remember my cable providers email or password so I literly lost $149.99 for the years trial doing this stupid app. I'm so disappointed because any other app they just have a scan code and it gets all the info from the phone to the TV. Also they charge you before creating a password or even be able to go on your tv to get the app. So good luck everyone

I'm paying 285.00 per month ,I've been with Comcast and xfinity for 39 years ,I've got HBO and Cinemax not talking about the many other channels so I think they should add 10 more bleeping things for me to do so I can watch the movie .IDIOTS .

I tried this but after clicking "sign In" my screen went back to "create account" saying this app already has my account info, of coarse it does I inputted the info myself; after inputting the info AGAIN it returns to "create acount" over and over and over... again😤 But thanks for trying😏 And please don't say uninstall and reinstall the app, I tried that too.

I’ve been trying to sync it from my IPhone to my TV … it worked 1 time 🙄. I tried again today 4 times and it just stayed on the HBO logo

What if you log in only once and it says too many attempts, even tho you know the password is right and it gives you some code to go enter in some website and still that doesn’t work. f the bs app

Idk if anyone is having an issue w doing this for xbox one, every single video about xbox has the comments disabled so i cant talk to anyone…. I literally cant sign in like I cant click sign in, it wont even highlight. It wont highlight when i click on a movie or show either. My app is fully updated and i have no idea what to do lmao. No problems on any other device. Xbox friends use the app all the time so i dont get why it isnt even allowing me to sign in.

This was the most difficult, pain in the butt app ever to set up. Create account, email in use, sign in, new password, sign into google, set up. Password fail, new password, wow I am so irritated at this point
