ОтветитьI usually look at the doctor's health whom I'm getting the information off of. Sometimes it can tell you a lot about the advice they're giving. Out of these two representing eggs and no eggs, I'd say the guy eating no eggs is onto something. But off course, there could be other things in their diet that contributes to lack of or good health. He looks way healthier, though he is younger. Having said that, I've seen people in their 60's that look healthier than the guy promoting egg consumption.
I used to eat eggs a lot, in fact that's why I'm here hoping to find the news that they are not bad for you because I LOVE eating eggs. Could live off of them if it wouldn't kill me quickly. Sadly, eggs aren't as healthy as most people think, I found out the hard way. I had way higher LDL than HDL after eating a diet with mostly egg and veggies in there as well. It doesn't take many eggs to raise your LDL. Which sucks 😢
I live in Turkey. Eggs, cheese, bread, tomatos, cucumbers and olives are the staple breakfast menu. Children, adults and elderly all have an avarage of an egg a day. Sometimes none sometimes 2,3. Collon cancer is rare. Insuline resistance and type 2 diabetes started to become common amongs the sedentery. I guess if you are active enough you can get away with eating 1,2 eggs a day.

Diets are complex, and it's virtually impossible for epidiomelogical studies to piece out the marginal effect of something like eggs versus other things in the person's diet which covary with egg consumption. You really need to fallback on RCTs, meta-analyses, and cross-country/cultural comparisons. These provide much stronger evidence than the associational studies.

Eggs are ridiculously good for you, particularly because of the cholesterol. Let me emphasize: HIGH CHOLESTEROL IN YOUR BLOOD IS HEALTHY, not a bad thing. The biggest concern for people is the buildup of plaque, which is contributed from high glucose content in your blood (eating lots of carbs). Cholesterol in eggs is used for the production of hormones. In men, you get higher testosterone. In women, you get more estrogen. That’s why there are so many people here touting their egg-consuming grandparents living for such a long time: eggs are good for you.

Dr. Freeman made the same point three times, and Dr. Miller wasn’t even given a chance to finish making his point. Kept getting interrupted by hosts who were saying a lot of words, but saying absolutely nothing.

Another confound could be whether choline interacts with other compounds, or whether people who tend to eat lots of eggs also tend to eat other products like cured bacon. Nutrition is so ridiculously complicated. Your best bet is to just try different things and ultimately go with what makes you feel better (mood, energy levels). Different people have adapted their bodies to process things differently, and people have different lifestyles. You really have to find what works for you. A good rule of thumb is to avoid processed foods, stick to whole foods, and get a variety of food groups. Also, as americans we all need to cut the sugar.
