Sharmin Sehgal is not at all graceful in her interviews... She always tends to overstep her limits at the extent of looking down upon her seasoned n capable co-actors thus exposing her true Nepo self... On screen she maintains an unexpressionable face... First of all she should learn to respect n acknowledge her fellow senior n very established co-actors for who they are.... Then she should learn some expressions n acting skills...

Her face in a alamzeb character suited so well for me, she looked like a innocent girl, shy, she didn’t want to be tawayaf she wanted to go after her dream to be a poet but she wasn’t allowed to do that, her diary was very important thing for her she has written best poets of her life in that diary but her mom burned her diary, she was a child whose mom never responded correctly for her love towards poetry the day when she left her home without telling her mom to listen the poet we have seen how her mom treated her for her actions, so that’s why she was introvert, had less expression & she didn’t express much pain & tears even when her beloved tajdar died because she endured that pain with silence, because that character has been responding to her pain like that way since the childhood with silence.
I’m from Nepal🇳🇵& I really felt the actress on alamzeb character was beautiful, her voice was deep & unique I loved it, the chemistry between tajdar & alamzeb was very beautiful.
In this series we have seen character of Bibo jan, Malika jan, fareedan & others too which was a very powerful performance everyone was fighting their own battles with conspiracy, they were meant to give power pack performance including expressions & nakhra while alamzeb was a very different character from them & her character really looked different than others. Some people are saying she didn’t look innocent… the scene with alamzeb & tajdar grandmother she looked so beautiful & innocent through my eyes. We have been seeing characters with much expressions so may be audience were not ready for the character like alamzeb… & Sanjay leela banshali sir who is perfectionist wouldn’t allow to ruin the whole show heeramandi just because of her bhanji because there were others many character who were working too hard for this show, Sharmin segal as a alamzeb was fit for Sanjay leela banshali sir visions & for me too.
I personally understood & liked alamzeb actor. I think she nailed the character alamzeb but I feel so bad that most of the audience couldn’t understand this character.
I feel so sorry for the hate she is getting for this character. I really loved & liked you sharmin shegal… after completing the heeramandi series you were first person I searched in instagram & started following you. More power to you girl❤️ God bless you🌷
