Minecraft In School - Student Work

That is amazing. We have chromebooks, but we use them for projects. Its better than paper, but minecraft is better-er than chromebooks

The school I go to used to do this, but only just before I got there they stopped it. It was basically a Minecraft Club. Super wrong timing though...

Everything on my computers at school is BLOCKED BLOCKED BLOCKED AND BLOCKED! Aaaaaaaarrrrghghghghgh. Oh well it's not like my school doesn't do fun computer lessons, we where programming our own versions of flappy bird and Plants verses Zombies and when we where done we could play on it for the rest of the lesson :D.

When I first saw this, I was completely jealous. Until I realized that my school was setting this up as well. They use this program called MinecraftEdu, which is basically minecraft, but with added features and teacher friendly menus. We used MinecraftEdu once for a math project. It was a lot of fun.

Those were the days... when Minecraft could actually run good FPS on Windows XP. (Or atleast run at all.)

I remember doing something similar to this when I was in 7th grade video production in 2009. Back then, there were less than 500,000 players and we'd play it on Minecraft's website in between video projects.

Last year my tech (or also known as keyboarding) teacher would let us play any games on the computers if we finished a typing lesson, and someone found out that you can download an unblocked version of Minecraft, and so everyone used it and so there was like a few land worlds full of people, sadly this year I have a different tech teacher that doesn't even let us use MS Paint, I'm hearing about how people are having fun playing Minecraft or even Agar.io together and I'm just like tear drops down cheek, and if there is a substitute that lets us play anything everyone's like "HOLLIYUYA!"
