1978 Ford Cars were junk…I inherited my dads ‘76 Ford Ltd Landau…gas guzzling luxurious lipstick on a pig.
Once it died in 86 I switched to Toyota and never drove any other car brand!👍🏻
Wow And Russia just set off a new unbeatable rocket - Jane’s aircraft was right!
ОтветитьThis was the year I graduated from high school and just completed my 1st semester of college. We were blessed back then.
ОтветитьThanks again for a retreat from madness in this country!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis is a nice fictional video, kids buying math games? Music with real singers playing their own instruments? Christmas specials with singers fully dressed, ballet and god? Movies that entertained instead of preaching? And the Raiders were good? Nice try this is obviously an AI deep fake
ОтветитьI was almost 2.
ОтветитьAhhh, December 1977. I was 18 years old, graduated from high school that June. I was able to drink 🍹 legally that New Year’s Eve🙋🏽♀️💋
ОтветитьA time when my life was FULL OF LOVE. Born in 71 to the most kind, loving, giving mother ever. Now family is distant memory that leaves my soul alone and lonely. Watching this triggers the feelings of all that love. I used to lay on my mom's lap and she would scratch my head and back while I watched TV. The feeling of safety was like no other. I'm so grateful for those precious moments
ОтветитьShawn Cassidy ❤❤❤❤

ОтветитьI graduated from college in 1977. Horrible times. Way too many college grads. Not enough jobs. I didn’t have meaningful employment until 12-13 years later. The economy was crap until the the tech industry boomed.
ОтветитьI always think how I want to go back to those times, until I remember my black brothers and sisters had it worse back then than they do now, and that feeling goes away.
ОтветитьI see Clint was still Shacking Up with Sondra Locke

ОтветитьI was 12. Amazing memories. I remember we just came off the bicentennial in '76. Everyone truly loved this country and it was such a patriotic celebration. WOW, did we have one heck of a block party. My brother bought me that STYX album for my birthday. Still have it at age 59❤
Those Christmas specials were so amazing and wholesome.
I'm not going to complain about the world today. I'm just going to be grateful that I was able to experience this nostalgic trip down memory lane. Thanks for the upload 🙏

ОтветитьNostalgia is as painful as it is comforting
ОтветитьPresident Carter sucked, lol. My old man complains to this day has 77 lol
ОтветитьIs that Casey Kasem doing the voice work for The Gauntlet, or someone that sounds similar to him?
ОтветитьWho is interviewing John Travolta?
ОтветитьThe 70s were pretty bleak. I was a kid but post-watergate were not good years for the country. Gas shortages, Iranian hostage crisis, waiting for killer bees to show up.
Ответить1977 was a great year for my family.
ОтветитьPaul Simon. 😂🎉
Ответить👋 Uhm, that aspirin thing...? I have questions
ОтветитьThe TV at 577 bucks. That was a lot of money back then.

ОтветитьWow Parker Brothers. I was born and grew up in Salem Massachusetts. The home of Parker Brothers. I remember these days. Wish I could go back
ОтветитьKtel records and Ronco...doesn't get any better than that
ОтветитьI was a freshman in college. I hopped on a train with a friend going from Seattle to Portland. We wanted to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind which wasn't going to be released in our area for another month. We had a great time even though we got of a bus 30 blocks too soon for the theater. In the rain.
ОтветитьBack when we had borders.
ОтветитьWow, that was a time warp ❤
