A time when my life was FULL OF LOVE. Born in 71 to the most kind, loving, giving mother ever. Now family is distant memory that leaves my soul alone and lonely. Watching this triggers the feelings of all that love. I used to lay on my mom's lap and she would scratch my head and back while I watched TV. The feeling of safety was like no other. I'm so grateful for those precious moments

I graduated from college in 1977. Horrible times. Way too many college grads. Not enough jobs. I didn’t have meaningful employment until 12-13 years later. The economy was crap until the the tech industry boomed.

I always think how I want to go back to those times, until I remember my black brothers and sisters had it worse back then than they do now, and that feeling goes away.

K Tel and Ronco commercials had it all. I was nlt 8 in 77 in my secong year of Little League. I had the Star Wars and Saturday Night Fever Al um amdxwould soon have. THe Grease Album. Lol

The charlie brown christmas was very much looked forward to. Along with Rudolf the red nosed rain deer. The feeling these films gave me were indescriable.

I was 12. Amazing memories. I remember we just came off the bicentennial in '76. Everyone truly loved this country and it was such a patriotic celebration. WOW, did we have one heck of a block party. My brother bought me that STYX album for my birthday. Still have it at age 59❤
Those Christmas specials were so amazing and wholesome.
I'm not going to complain about the world today. I'm just going to be grateful that I was able to experience this nostalgic trip down memory lane. Thanks for the upload 🙏

The 70s were pretty bleak. I was a kid but post-watergate were not good years for the country. Gas shortages, Iranian hostage crisis, waiting for killer bees to show up.

We wanted to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind which wasn't going to be released in our area for another month. We had a great time even though we got of a bus 30 blocks too soon for the theater. In the rain.
