For an authentic, original filming model, it looks quite a bit like shit.
ОтветитьCan we just call it Star Wars: A New Hope?
ОтветитьYou can see brandon get nervous when adam gets close to the model
ОтветитьIt comes with free Adam spit 😅
ОтветитьHow was it lost for 45 years if 1 year ago you all had your hands-on it......
ОтветитьI wonder how much it sold for...
ОтветитьWhat a treasure!
ОтветитьAdams hands and arms are swinging very close to that fragile prop. Back away a bit dude.
Ответитьpew pew pew
ОтветитьIn 1977 I was in 8th grade joined the rocket club bought the x wing tighter it looked remarkaly like that model I worked and worked building it decals paint it took 2 ests rocket motors finly the day came i got to launch it only to watch the wind take it away never saw it agin
ОтветитьPeople forget how iconic star wars universe vehicles are , ucas and his team are not only have a great imagination but creative as FK ,just absolutely love it ,
ОтветитьPainstaking detail!!💖
ОтветитьI swear I am ALWAYS freaked out when Adam starts wildly gesticulating around this super fragile "relics"...
ОтветитьThose are not radar dishes, those are the blaster emitters. You should know that, Adam.
ОтветитьCame from your Star Treck Enterprise video
Ответитьpure insanity
ОтветитьCrazy you could buy a house for what that's worth.
ОтветитьI want Porkin's X-Wing model. Hero's never die!
ОтветитьThis sold at auction for $2,375,000
ОтветитьNo B-52 ever had a ball turret. B-24 or B-17 maybe?
ОтветитьThink about how many "views" this "model" has gotten over the past 46 years! Incredible!
ОтветитьSO when I build my BanDai X wing fighter, I can use this as a template.
ОтветитьB-52? He likely meant B-17 or B-29 (or others with large exposed turrets).
ОтветитьB-52s had ball turrets?
ОтветитьThis is so Cool! Happy Birthday StarWars
ОтветитьI was lucky to see a few props when they had them at the exploritorium in San Jose CA. They had an x wing about that size, the milanium falcon, a star destroyer, a few costumes including the wampa, anakins pod racer, phantom menace c3po, droidika.
ОтветитьThere is an actual 1to1 scale screen used X wing in Smithsonian. Conservators mistook fake battle damage for actual damage to the artifact!
ОтветитьI love that they used what appear to be regular, air-breathing, afterburning F-14 (?) engines for it. Probably from a model kit?
ОтветитьSomeone get Adam a pair of bifocals. ;)
ОтветитьContent we'll never see: the various Lego UCS X-wings held up side by side with this.
Ответитьnow that’s a treasure
ОтветитьYou need to know plasticmodels, you can make replicas much more realistic than this one!
ОтветитьIncredible. I have so much appreciation for the level of detail and craftsmanship that went into the practical effects of the original trilogy. Love seeing these two geek out over such a special piece!
Ответитьいずれ国宝指定されるんじゃないかな。
ОтветитьThe only design I liked from star wars as a kid.
ОтветитьSomehow, despite reading through various Star Wars encyclopedias/visual guides and watching the original movies dozens of times, this is the first time that I learnt that the X-Wings had their callsign number painted on their wings.
ОтветитьIt's intended purpose was to be destroyed but they never imagined it would happen after being stored for 50 years, Adam!
ОтветитьSeems like they replicated it. Even so, I love star wars so I'm not mad.
ОтветитьHow Adam didnt knock the model off its stand waving his arms so close to it is a miracle
ОтветитьHey man..........Silent Running is a great iconic film.
ОтветитьI wasn't really a Mythbusters consumer, nor did I really think AST would hold my interest .. But here I am... And to know his a once ILM employee .. BOOM!
Loving the Content
You forgot thunderbirds
They were the first to use models with a used look
I've loved this series at Prop Store. Adam's enthusiasm for model-making really shines through.
Ответитьhe almost didn't touch it, then at the end lol
ОтветитьLooks like R2 is too big. Not in proportion to Luke
Ответить
