whoever made this complication doesn't know a thing about gymnastics 😆Obviously these are all amazing gymnastics but these are not the best dismounts. Almost none are stuck, and most have form issues.

With the exception of Shannon & maybe 1 more, barely any of these would qualify as best dismounts. Best dismounts means sticking the landing.

This is an embarrassment for all those wonderful gymnasts that did GREAT dismounts in the Olympic Games...Shannon Miller, Tatiana Gutsu, Carly Patterson and Yelena Produnova are the only athletes that performed good dismounts in this entire video. Where was NAstia Liukin, Shawn Johnson, Catalina Ponor, Olga Korbut or Nadia Comaneci???????????????

Not the best list ever compiled, but I’ve got to say watching Carly Patterson do that dismount never ceases to amaze me

This is preposterous. Whoever selected these dismounts is either clueless or just lazy. This is someone making a clickbait title on a large channel just to get views and money without putting any effort into the montage. Everyone that has watched gymnastics for more then 10 minutes knows that there are way better dismounts than these, some of them are actually horrendous like that double cowboy (You can't really call it tucked now can you) or the crossed feet on the twisting layouts, without even talking about choosing dismounts with noticeable steps on the landing when you have an army of gymnasts that stuck their landings in the Olympics.

The front handspring made my jaw drop!! Amazing power and scary!

This list was garbage and here's why:

#10 had flexed feet, pike down, and a hop
#9 had leg separation on landing and a hope
#8 had leg cross, slight under rotation, and a hop
#7 had flexed feet, low chest on the landing, and a little step
#6 had a horrible cowboy tuck, a super low chest, and a hop
#5 had flexed feet, leg separation in flight and on landing, low chest, and a hop
#4 had a significant step but wasn't too bad
#3 had one of my favorite dismount combos but this performance had flexed feet, a low chest, and a little step
#2 had a bit of a cowboy tuck and what could potentially be counted as an arm swing. This deserves to be on the list but not at #2
#1 had its little flaws but it should definitely be in the top 3

While none of these are really bad dismounts, there have probably been more better ones at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics alone. And so many great ones from even the same Olympics used in the videos were left out. Terrible.

Catalina Ponor at Athens 2004 Olympics. A very deserved Gold medal. She is the QUEEN.

i agree with the general consensus that most of these dismounts are far from the best in Olympic history, and the background music is awful. It would have been far better just to use the sportscasters' commentary and no music.
