Coming back to this in 2023, Melee reveal is hands-down, the best thing Nintendo has ever produced outside of games. It legit brings the tear to my eye... And I wasn't even there.

it's kinda funny how the newcomers always fight back. guess veterans don't always stand a chance against newcomers.

When we thought that Sonic and Snake in Smash was the highest point of smash... how wrong we were, now having the greatest lile Mega Man, Banjo-Kazooie and unthinkable like Cloud, Sephiroth, STEVE FROM MINECRAFT, greatest crossover characters like Ryu and Ken, Terry, and Kazuya, and the most requested ever: Sora.

How things has changed, Smash becoming the deffintive crossover as a Hall of Fame of Videogames, the most important characters and franchises of the industry.

the first smash bros' commercial is hilarious.

Man, each game had somethign amazing an iconic about it, Smash 64 laid a decent foundation, Melee was the graphical improvment and really laid the competitive groundwork and expanded, Classic Mode, Multiman Smash, a couple extra game modes, and the first Adventure mode, this one iconic for it's simplicity of just picking a character, journying through different worlds with ai enemies and bosses, gameplay veriety. Brawl added Final Smashes, bunch of new guys, more game modes, and an actual story mode, it's also the best game for new players as the Subspace EMmisary gives you a fun story to experiance, great cutscenes, awesome bosses, and because you HAVE to play thrpugh the story as asighned characters with most of the fighters introduced over the course of the game, it's the best for new players as it makes you play most of the characters, and by fighting through a variety of decent enemies you can very easily learn the basics of most of the characters and pick a main, to this day I always play Brawl characters the best due to playign the heck out of it and the SUbspace Emmisary so much as a kid. Smash 4 sadly was kind of a downgrade, it had no real story outside of the thing with Master Hand at the end of Classic Mode, and so you have to play every character multiple times to get the hang of them, though I think most people just chose a couple or 1 main and only uses the others if they need to for unlockign things. It's also the most grindy of Smash games to get all characters and stages unlocked. Ultimate feels like it's just SMash 4 but improved a little bit, yet it's Adventure Mode is honestly pretty dull and tedious. On lower difficulties it's just a boring grind, and on hgher it's a challange but now it takes much longer to complete and it's still pretty long, with a bare bones "story" plus you're not forced to play most of the characters, so again for noobs you need to spend time with each character or just pick a main for whatever reason you choose, the upside is it has the biggest roster by quite a lot.

I’ll never forget five years later and five years ago I was absolutely amazed. I was shocked to the core I was blown away by what I was seeing during that reveal.

so with Corrin reveal trailer there is something that irked me. the Nohrians and Hoshidans are complementing Corrin throughout the trailer, but don't they hate each other by that point in Fates? the fuck is up with that?

I love that the people that made little mac knew so much that his recovery was so bad that they even explicitly included it in the trailer. And its not even like a thing that would obviously not be survivable, it is the most ridiculous distance ever and I love it lol

I don't really care if people think Brawl's bad. That game was the best out of this series, and it was a huge memory from my childhood.
