You know you don't have to write "no5" because you don't need the fifth to imply the same chord. Great tone and playing though!

So what is the key? I think it is F major, because that chord sounds like tonic, but in that case there isnt all right with the 3rds of g and a chords.

I noticed a parallel/overlap between J-rock guitarists and midwest emo/math rock guitarists:

they tend to avoid playing regular-ass chord shapes and intervals.
(for example, Unison Square Garden almost always uses 7th or 9th chords whenever possible)
