You can't look at anything, including media, coming from Russia. In fact the Wagner group isn't really even a private military company, the only way it is, would be by name so the government can do sketchy stuff, it is basically just a separate branch pretending to be private. So the fact they rebelled is even more telling.

So this is all true from what I have researched... You do leave out the fact that based on all you have said, Ukrain has no chance of victory and although you mention Russian casualties at 65 000 there's no mention of Ukranian casualties which are estimated at around 450 000 with as many as that injured.... In other words their ground forces are all but gone

Russia already admits openly how Ukraine is only the beginning. They wont stop there. They will attack Moldavia, the Baltic States, Poland etc once they are done with Ukraine. If we want to stop future wars in Europe, Ukraine has to win and liberate its territory, especially Crimea. Or else more people will die due to more wars started by Russia.

Its a big stretch to say Afgan war had a large affect on USSR collapse. I personally don't think it was much of a cause. Also even if US stopped giving aid which certainly would be a blow, i know that in Europe the people are still strongly in support of aid to Ukraine.
