I like to use story poles for picket layouts,is that story pole Ur using for tread height?id like to know how u use it for stairs,much mahalo for your videos they are very informative

Yes they can be used in a variety of different ways, but can also be used to double check the finished stair tread height of each individual step. Story polls are helpful when building stairs without stringers or complicated stairways that require a variety of different measurements. I will see what I can do on making a video in the future with more information, so stay tuned.
