Yeah I'd feel naucious after eating chewna and riding in a tesla
ОтветитьThis is the most embarrassing review I’ve ever seen. Seriously Edmunds, you should be ashamed. How can you expect people to trust you when you’re putting out biased propaganda like this?
ОтветитьThat yoke alone is the single worst thing in a car that's overhyped, overestimated and a toy.
ОтветитьJust a bad video title 👎
ОтветитьHow in the world does the car go so fast. But they can't make good brakes lol.
We've got cars that go around circuits faster and can handle themselves alot better. Even big 4 door cars.
The reason I will never contribute to Polluting the Ground Water 💧 and the Ocean from Leaky Battery Packs 🔋 Acids and other Chemicals seep into to Ground Water 💧 California USA 🇺🇸 does not have a Recycling Center for Battery Packs from 20 to 10 year old Electric Vehicles (EV's) & Hybrid
Article posted by Jalopnik News got my attention and I verified it. California USA 🇺🇸 only has Recycling ♻️ Centers for the GOLD inside Computers 🖥, Stereo, Television 📺, & cellphone 📱
I will never buy anything that will drive me, and doesn't have a 6 Speed Manual Transmission 🙋👍🏎🏁 good show though
The good thing about Apple coming out with their car: Tesla's prices will drop like an anvil. Nobody will want one at those prices anymore.
ОтветитьI see that the Tesla fanbois and bots showed up xD
ОтветитьYour review seems to be tainted by Musk’s desire to buy Twitter and that bothers you. You mentioned Twitter multiple times in your review. BTW the seats are not leather because they are echo friendly. I did not really appreciate the headliner coming down as you stated in your video, it seemed like any other car. If driving fast cars gets you sick, don’t do it. Your complaints seemed to be pretty petty.
ОтветитьWaiting for faraday future
ОтветитьBring on the competition. Porsche may make a better car, but Tesla makes the better electric car. Taycan looks real pretty and fancy, but what’s under the skin? Which one is faster? Tesla. Which one is more efficient? Tesla (by far). Which one is smarter? Tesla. Who has a dedicated international supercharger network? Tesla. The eccentric CEO is just a bonus.
ОтветитьThe car is awesome how do u make a whole video hating on a car
Let elon live this car is a monster an I still want one
Your track wasn’t “grippy” enough. The Tesla will only put down what the grip can handle.
ОтветитьSave $25 000, and by the MUCH better Porsche Taycan 4S.
ОтветитьThe Yoke should be recalled and replaced for safety reasons. Terrible and foolhardy decision to incorporate this into a high performance vehicle.
Ответить"It's too fast and is not a consumption device for the oil industry so we don't get paid. Buy something slower." :/
Ответитьscreen is turning with wheel is very bad can cause car-sick
ОтветитьI own a 2022 Model S Plaid and absolutely love it. I disagree with some of your statements about this vehicle, primarily the comment about a marketing exercise. The Plaid registered the fastest EV run on Nurburgring outside of being the fastest in acceleration. In other words it’s not just a dragster, it handles really well in fact better than the Tyacan, and I would know as I also own a Taycan Turbo S. Sure fit and finish could be better, then again that’s not the reason most people buy a Tesla.
ОтветитьI agree with Edmunds all the way. It's a joke of a car with no soul or track abilities. Just a light to light ego booster and then back to the charging station.
ОтветитьClickbait by legacy auto 😅
ОтветитьSomeone sounds like a mad child
ОтветитьThe model S plaid is really just a one trick pony!
ОтветитьThank God Tesla decided to make the Plaid with a proper steering wheel. Great review 👏
Ответитьwhy say antics on Twitter numbnuts no need for it
ОтветитьThe fact this car is actually obtainable for myself terrifying lol
ОтветитьThumbs down due to the host.. made the most pointless comments and negative marks like:
1) Pointing out that you enable the left and right turn signals with the same hand.. I’ve yet to find a vehicle made after the 1980s that has a left turn indicator on the left, and right turn on the right..
2) the notion of safety.. Tesla leads the industry in crash safety.. And the comparison between a Model S and the sports bike.. $130,000 is not “readily available”, nor is a crash at ANY SPEED safety on a bike than in a Model S..
3) feeling sick after driving.. have you driven a car that quickly before? This IS the “quickest accelerating production vehicle”…
4) the tri-motor torque vectoring DOES enhance grip.. did you HEAR the tires squealing?? I’ll answer that one for you: nope. But Tesla DOES offer track modes now, so you can slip and squeal the tires..
5) if you’re an “American muscle car guy”, maybe disclose that you will not be interested in an EV, and that your reviews will be biased… it’s a shame Edmond’s allows this to represent their dishonest reviews..
I get that ih it's so crazy fast but what you get for acceleration boer but you can't argue is a back price for a car that traps 150 in the qtr mile.
Some brembo brakes and ohlins suspension for say 40k corner balance and you might have a sub 7 minute nurburg lap time
The plaid now comes standard with the round steering wheel and is $89,990 in any color with 19 inch rims and black interior. This is now (only) $15,000 more than the long range. Autopilot is $6,000 extra on either car. The 19 inch rims increase the range to 396 miles. If you run a car at a drag strip the time you get will include the rollout. By the way you can open the glove box by using voice command. So far the only thing I don't like is the turn signals on the steering wheel.
ОтветитьWe get it this guy doesn't like the yoke. It takes time to adjust to so maybe he should spend more that a few hrs with it before the bitch session. Also when is anyone in the real world turn as many high speed hard left right turns as he is? A bit impractical of a real world test tbh. I agree is this was a high hp camaro or other legacy automaker he would of been thrilled and not complain about hp.
ОтветитьSo is waste of money and is only good for fast speed and for the rich to show wealth. Ok don’t buy anything that’s just a bit better or to show status quo, got it! 😂
ОтветитьInteresting as Elon dropped the price on a NEW 2024 S Plaid to $89,990 and there are used 2021 Plaids now selling for $69,900! ....and they still run 9.5 seconds or faster quarter miles!
ОтветитьIt is in my opinion the best sedan car there is today. By far. Compared to the best M5s, AMGs and RS Audis. The chassis is finally amazing on the 2023 model and cornering on swiss mountain roads is amazing as well as plenty fun. You should get out of your track to test it. The yoke is indeed a joke however and should not be allowed. The regular wheel is too big but at least it is round. 😂 Get maybe some antidepressants because this is not a marketing trick. It is AWESOME in its capabilities and fun. To get a better car, I need a GT3 RS or a 296 GTB.
ОтветитьYeah but if you can't have on demand 0 to 60 and 2 seconds what's the point you're with your girlfriend in a red light and some guy pulls up in a Lamborghini and Monster Race and you say hold on I got to wait 7 minutes
ОтветитьPretty sure the car heats the batteries up not cool them during track mode
ОтветитьThis did not age well from day 1
ОтветитьThis guy loves to complain
Ответитьimagine he can't drive the car in a short circuit but yet I win all competitive events with the same wheel. It's not always the car, it's always the driver.
ОтветитьLOL this review is so bad.
ОтветитьI was an outspoken critic of the yoke but after quite a bit' of wheel time with it, I can safely say you get used to it.
Once you get used to it, it is pretty cool and I appreciate that it doesn't get in the way of the instrument cluster view.
The bottons on the yoke? now THAT is another story but thankfully my muscle memory is good.
0-60 in 2 secs, 190+ mph top speed AND over 1.0 G lateral… still hard to comprehend those figures in a street legal car.
ОтветитьThey're now $50k
ОтветитьBest car in the world for a daily drive. By far. 7min20sec around the Nurburgring makes it way more capable than an m5 or AMG. It’s on par with a 911 Turbo S with the track pack, for a fraction of the cost of the German cars.
ОтветитьSo funny to come in here in the beginning of 2025 and see all these Tesla fanboys defending Tesla. Musk is doing a really good job to alienate everyone and to drive this company into the ground. It's a shame, because I do like their cars but I'd never buy one. Hopefully these fanboys will cash out on their stock before it's too late.
ОтветитьWild this car used is under 55k with relatively low mileage & some include FSD package and a wheel with a horn... 2025+ is madness 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
ОтветитьThe Tesla owned u
Ответить3 years later has told a different story
ОтветитьYet the yoke is cool on a BMW?😅 Who needs to turn like that every day anyways? Sure it isn't as good as a round steering wheel but day to day I bet people don't really think about it.
ОтветитьAwesome power and acceleration aside, could you live with the yoke?
Ответить
