So from reading the biography on Buffet "The Snowball", the story I understand about why Buffet took over Berkshire was that the original owner did something that was perceived as being unfair, so in spite Buffet went all in and decided to buy them out in anger. If that's correct, then Buffet was being a bit coy in this interview. Obviously he made out alright, but it was interesting to read that even someone as rational as Buffet is human after all (and I love him all the more for it).

He ultimately bought GM despite the legacy costs.

Man, I miss Charlie Rose. I don’t know of a better interviewer. He was extremely knowledgeable and was respected by the people he interviewed.

Really sucks what happened to him. Of course he shares responsibility for what happened, but I really wish it could have been handled differently.

I shouldn’t speculate too much because I don’t know much about his personal affairs, but it does seem like he was a victim of a mass hysteria. Not that he wasn’t guilty of numerous offenses. He clearly was. But in a weird way, justice was unjust in this case.

No doubting his success, but what I really love about both Buffet & Munger is their 100% humility and integrity. That’s rare in any period of history.

I have my retirement plan well invested with the best financial advisor I know, and now I want to try out real estate. I just want to increase my income source.
