I know 800 hours of real to real Dead is about 1/10 of live concert time but to me its a life time of great concerts. Im a 50's baby so by 1970 i was tripping at Dead concerts having a life time of memories

Seeing those two little dancing kids makes me wonder what my parents were doing when this show was happening 49 years ago. My mom was 13 days shy of 9 and my dad was 10, and they both lived in South San Francisco. I can't even begin to describe how bad I wish I could travel back in time and see this performance. I'm absolutely fixated on it.

After 45 years, I just recently had the ephiney that the Dead is actually just Country Music for folks who like acid. I grew up with them just never really got it until recently, that, that is what their style actually is...Who woulda guessed?! Lol... Watching Waylon Jennings and them from the 70's recently too, I get it now....Waylon just drank and snuffed c9la, these kids took it too the extreme...

Imagine… seeing this live at 15 years old ❤… & then becoming a crazy cat lady…. & married to a narcissist husband who was in a motorcycle gang in his distant past. Having always walked on eggshells while he was alive… but on his Harley… was when I felt most alive. I’m hoping he’s on the other side…he has growth 💜🙏

When the vibe among the band and crowd was right, there was no other live music experience filled with more love or true family tribe vibe than The Dead. You changed my life through my childhood forever and I am forever Grateful for that🙏❤️ 154 shows by the age of 17❤️

My bro in law took me to see the Dead in may 1980 @ nassau coliseum. My first concert @12 yrs old . Wow . Incredible . I used to drive upstate New York with my mom and dad to go see my grandparents at that time. Although I may hate graffiti. But on the way upstate New York with the rock formatioms . On I 87 . There would be grateful Dead paintings on the huge rocks in the background. Because ny college students loved The Greatful Dead .
