Mount Rainier National Park | Day Hike: Grand Park via Lake Eleanor | Grand Park Mount Rainer

I hiked to Grand Park in Mount Rainier National Park via the 'backdoor' route through Lake Eleanor. Starting from the forest road, we gently ascended through the woods, crossing into the National Park. After passing Lake Eleanor, we continued climbing through forested areas and meadows. Upon reaching Grand Park, an expansive meadow, we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of Mt. Rainier. Walking through the park with the majestic mountain view was unforgettable! We then followed the Northern Loop Trail for a short distance to a stunning viewpoint, offering spectacular views of Mt. Rainier, the surrounding mountains, and the valley below. Although long, the hike was not overly strenuous.
