Benny, maybe put the exit of the ride at the bottom after the last decorated room, and allow the rider to walk out of Beneset's pyramid via a creepy themed corridor, or even a decorated series of rooms that gradually ramp up out of the pyramid. Then the cart can climb the chainlift unoccupied so the experience doesnt end on a dull point.
I do that sometimes with coasters... the exit and entrance of any given coaster/train don't HAVE to be on the same plot/station, you can build 2 stations and have an exit at the latter station. For example, my one park has a subway (monorail) that exits before the cars return to the main station. (its how park guests can leave my one park)... Just an idea.... and would allow you to enhance the ride with a second station room and the themed exit ramp.

Oh, and as usual, excellent build. How do you get the lights to flicker like that for the skull? Do spot lights blink faster than 0.25 somehow?

You should add smoke emitters at the black floor area, to make it seem like an endless pit

Imagine you used those elevator tracks and then at the end the ridecomes to a dead end stop and elevates back up to the station and the audio says something for example. Sorry for all of the inconveniences we will rise you back up immediately and this will never happen again. With maybe a jumpscare at the end while the elevator is rising you up.
