Greatly appreciated. The "stitch skip" was amazing.
ОтветитьHave you considered doing miter joints instead of a box
ОтветитьЯзык без костей.
Ответитьmilllion thanks
ОтветитьWhy wouldn’t u want to do the 45 degree stitch to come out the bottom of the piece?
ОтветитьAre you in Canada? In America we don't use the metric system. That's why we invented every important thing... using the standard imperial.

ОтветитьGRACIAS 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ответитьwhy do you cut out of the middle and not closer to the edge to save some material?
2 years later and this video is the best box stitch explanation.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video. Been attempting to do the angled holes. I'm going to need a LOT more practise to manage to do it going from the results of the last few nights. lol
Ответитьi found vellum and a good leather backing for it... now i realize i need to make a map tube holder and this is one of the steps i need....
debating boiled / hardend leather but havent found a good video for that yet.
thanks for this great video. very handy. I was long time ago looking to learn about this kind of stitching.
ОтветитьVery helpful video. I literally just got a starter leather working kit yesterday, and going to try and use some of these in my first piece - wish me luck!
ОтветитьI am actually in the process of doing a dice bag out of a beautiful reptile hide I wish I would’ve found this before hand.
ОтветитьYou sound American, so whats with the mm
ОтветитьI followed your instruction and did a practice piece first before comitting to sew a binocular case. So pleased with the outcome, very satisfying 😀👍 I wonder though how you match the size of the round piece to the upright part
ОтветитьSkill unlocked!
ОтветитьWould it be the same by using the heavy metal roller over the stitching?
ОтветитьTanks. You're tutorial is very beautiful.
ОтветитьHola🎉
ОтветитьCool video!!!!
ОтветитьCan you make a football?
Ответить.6mm ritza on 5-6oz leather as well... any use for those .8mm? I'm using 2-3 oz natural veg tan and have seen the other stitching videos, just wondering as I have 1mm and .6mm if .8mm is worth buying? that buckle guy set maybe for exotic leather crafting
ОтветитьWonderful job...!!! Congratulations !!!👏👏👏
Ответитьhow thick is the leather you are using?
ОтветитьEnjoyed watching this video, really informative. I thought you might want to consider making up some pvc setups for holding your round work( multiple sizing) while stitching, It would be an inexpensive way to make a round work stitching pony that you could clamp to your bench and free up both hands. Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers...Freddie

ОтветитьYou say it's a pencil holder, I say beer holder. Lol. Great way to keep the beer cold while you drink it. Just need to make sure you get the size right so a can or bottle slips in nice and snug. They are all usually a standard size...
ОтветитьI love the pencil box. Do you have any videos of how to stitch by hand. To skive or not to skive.
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьQuality video ! 👌
ОтветитьSry but I got completely triggered when that circle got cut smack out of the middle of that piece of leather over 2x it's width....
ОтветитьAwesome!
Ответить👍❤️
ОтветитьThanks for this,well done
ОтветитьThanks for the video. The technique to skip holes is so helpful!
QUESTION: for the box stitch, when you decide the distance of your punched holes in relation to the edge of the leather, does it have to do with the thickness of the leather? As in, do you need the back of the straight holes to line up with the back of the angled holes on the inside?
very nice demonstration of leather stitching! this will be helpful for me, as i am planing to make similar cylinders out of leather to use as sectional walking stick holders when they are disassembled. its one of two ideas for such a holder than i want to try and make. with the other being more like a tool wrap with some sort of clip lath to close, and both with some sort of shoulder strap or belt loop to secure with while in use. in any case though, i am more confident in being able to make them now that i have another nice video tutorial to watch and follow along with when designing my project idea. so thanks =)

ОтветитьПРОСТО МОЛОДЕЦ, Я У ТЕБЯ УЧУСЬ, СПАСИБО!
ОтветитьYour channel is the best on the internet. Clear, simple and most of all inspiring!
ОтветитьRebrand this away from a "Pen Cup" & make it a Beer Coozie & you'll increase the sales on it drastically.
ОтветитьIt is quite amazing how much changes in a year. 1. the pounding board is now black and made of a different substance. 2. you are now using your own Buckleguy stitching chisels. 3. Ritza 25 > Maine threads. 4. The studio. What else am I missing?
ОтветитьЯ искренне Вас благодарю. Мне это было очень нужно. 👍
ОтветитьGood job
