How do I STUDY my Bible?

My biggest problem when reading Is that my mind keeps on wandering it doesn't matter how focused I am or how quiet it is I always wander

Lol.. why is that these bible helpers are ALWAYS ALMOST ASSERTIVELY SHOUTING. instead of saying.."hello I'm David. Today we will be leaving learning about Jesus.

My problem is that I got to church every Sunday and I barely read my Bible often and I just don't how to actually meditate after I read the word I feel like I'm rushing but I try not to and there is so many things in me that I try to get rid of as as a fifteen year old like my pride, anger, and I don't want to have lust at my age

I agree with what you are trying to say, but the bible does not say that Christians must read it. You have to think about the time period when the texts where written. The majority of people did not know how to read, let alone be able to afford the writings. That is why Jesus had such a problem with the sadducees and pharisees. They were the rich and political class and could afford the the writings and were educated enough to read them, but they unfortunately perverted the word of God for their benefit.

Now, the reason I agree with what you are trying to say is that in current times, most people are educated enough to read the bible and should do so. However; they can learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible by listening to people. This does however allow for man to corrupt Gods word even more than it already is. By reading and understanding the Bible, you can't easily be fooled, but that leads to the question of which faith and Bible is the most accurate. I can't answer that question because I don't know. I do have a problem with is the newer bibles that removed or completely changed the word of God.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I love what you are doing, but you do need to be careful of the words you choose in cases like this. The bible says "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." The phrase "but by every word of God" does not say read the text, it means that you must understand and know what Gods word is. The reason you need to be careful when quoting the bible is that it allows the unsaved to dispute and prove you wrong by the text.

when he talked about your relationship with god being stunted by not reading the bible everyday is false thats a fear tactic to make you think if you dont do what the church tells you to do you are "stunting your relationship with god" god never leaves youn no mattter what we do because we exsist limitlessly throughout everything but getting to know the bible will help you alot but dont be scared because god is not the art of confusion or fear
