This guy is wrong on so many levels. First of all the Tsar wasn't killed because they lost WWI, he was killed because the reds wanted a new form of government that represented the people and not an elite 1st class that hoarded all the wealth and kept everyone else poor. Russia's involvement in WWI was the last straw because it broke their terrible economy even further and got many Russians killed. So they overthrew the Tsar because he kept making decisions that did not represent or benefit the people. They didn't kill him because he lost WWI. That statement is so false and ridiculous that it is painful to even imagine that idiots are spewing historical inaccuracies like this. Furthermore, how is NATO the only way Ukraine will be safe? Maybe it has something to do with how the US somehow interferes with their elections to appoint leaders who are sympathetic to the west? Just like the US has done with Iraq, Libya, and failed to do with Iran? If Ukraine was neutral, this war wouldn't have started. The US promised not to expand NATO past Poland. That was the deal that was made when Russia agreed to remove the Berlin Wall. If the US really cared about Ukraine, we would not have broken that promise. Instead they are using this war to benefit political elites and bankers and crying victim as if they have no idea why this war happened.

This sums it up very well. Best dream scenario is if putin goes a more open minded or even pro western leader takes over, but that is very unlikely.

How longer the war goes on, how difficult it shall be for the Russians to win it like Vietnam for the USA! And like Vietnam, Ukraine is supplied by other nations to fight on. Ukraine cannot lose and Russia can only lose. History say so, modern and past history.

The West reneged on The Minsk Agreement which Merkel stated they had no intention of adhering to, it was to buy time for Ukraine to build the Military. It is unlikely Putin could trust any future agreement on that basis. Talk of Putin being ousted or taking over Moldova goes to show how utterly detached from reality Western commentators are.

My view:
China will stab Russia on the back and will take russian territory. Putin will be replaced with a pro western president and Russia and the west will fight China together, not without several hundred million deaths on both sides.
