The Epic Games Store Is Pathetic

I'm pretty sure that if genshin came on steam stupid no life's are gonna completely ruin it by spamming the reviews

I bought Satisfactory on steam again once it was released there because its just better

in my opinion, epic games is trying desperately to take a chunk out of steams sales. Between exclusives and the old negative PR campaign. I don't necessarily blame them for trying, I'm sure on some level it works especially on a short term but I won't personally reward them for this behavior by giving them my money for games. I don't like exclusives and I don't like unnecessary mudslinging when it comes to companies. Tell me what makes your product better, not just a hit piece on your competition.

I remember hopping in a discord call with some friends of mine and they were all in a game of Fall Guys and trying to get me to join. I got it on steam forever ago so I hit launch and it pulled up the Epic launcher. I didn't know it would do this, it had been a long time since I played Fall Guys. But I couldn't join them because I had to friend them on Epic (in case it wasn't obvious already, I don't use Epic enough to have all my friends added on it). It literally took me FOURTY FIVE MINUTES to open the FRIEND MENU. By the time it actually came up, everyone had to go. I haven't even launched Epic since then

Only good thing about Epic Games is the free games they give is a hit or miss but I never spent a dime on Epic Games and collected quite abit of games and hidden gems. UI sucks, the games heavily rely on internet hence why it's also slow asf for the most part and some controller support is lacking or straight shit on some titles. No gaming community like steam and it's just so dull. Unreal Engine, Fortnite, Free Games are the only positives about it. I wouldn't spent a single dime on digital games from Epic. If I want a good ass game I would always buy it on Steam platform over Epic Games.

Bought dying light 2 on it. I could've spent the extra dollars to get it on steam. Epic games just takes so long to launch the game I might as well have the launcher and game installed on a hard drive.

I wanted to play Titan Quest and found it cheap on Epic Games, so i bought it. I did'nt even wait for the download to finish and just asked for a refund cause the launcher was using so much of my CPU that it looked like my PC would melt. Just the launcher was doing that. Also i did'nt like the interface, it was kinda clumsy and slow. I'll wait for a sale of TQ on Steam instead.

If you don't know how to connect Epic to to some launcher,ask me, gonna make tutorial jus for you, or you have any kind of problems.BTW, you need a external launcher for Steam as well ( for plenty of games),if your games loads forever like in the vid , buy new PC, and its not just achievements,on Epic you get 5% on your account of most of the games you purchased ,so in a while you can buy a new game,you forgot to tell that,....I guess...But u needed to hit that 8 minutes mark ,so sad.

Epic literally permanently banned me from contacting customer support after I tried reaching out to them about a billing issue on their side. The agent refused to do anything, and I was shadow-banned without warning.

One of Epic Store's selling points is that they don't have user reviews, they "wont allow review bombing".
That shows the disconnect with us the customers.

The worst part is i lost a game for no reason and i fully lost access 💀 (on epic game store) and then they just said might be incorrect account when in reality i lost access to the game entirely for no reason.
