tie fighter perfection
ОтветитьIt really says something when a single TIE Fighter in Andor is able to be more intimidating than a fleet of planet-destroying Star Destroyers in Rise of Skywalker.
Really shows the difference between a story written to tell a story VS. a story written to make money off of the IP.
I got the impression from this scene that the TIE fighter pilot wanted to mess with them since he assumed they were the remaining locals
ОтветитьSupersonic flyby! Cool!
ОтветитьGreat shot. Want more of this great edited Stuff
ОтветитьSay what you will about how the tie fighters actually performed in combat against x-wings but remember… where there’s 1 tie fighter, there’s dozens if not hundreds not far away
ОтветитьThat pilot probably spotted some livestock herders and decided to have a little fun with the locals.
ОтветитьIf any of you have read Star Wars: Lost Stars, which I guarantee you haven't cus it's well....a romance novel, you would know that one of the main characters actually said it was a daily task for him to take his TIE out and scare people to remind them that they can't and shouldn't take on the Empire.
ОтветитьAfter newest Ahsoka episode i m pissed of how they showed tie fighters there, so i m here to see a magnificent work of Andor
ОтветитьYou would have heard an echo before it returned
ОтветитьSTUKA VERBAND IM ANGRIFF AUF REBELLEN PANZER UND TRUPPEN BEWEGUNGEN.
Ответитьah yes, a "secret" camp out in an open field 10/10
ОтветитьWhen you realize that if the Imperials here were like the ones that tried to catch Luthen's haulcraft, then that TIE would’ve had some great target practice.
ОтветитьLOVED this show ! LOVED this scene ❤
ОтветитьA lot of people seem to really underestimate TIE Fighters, seeing them as cannon fodder. But we've seen from the OT how TIEs have no problems blowing X and Y-Wings out of the sky, and games such as the classic SW Battlefront 1 and 2, as well as Rogue Leader and TIE Fighter, can show how devastating TIEs can be against Rebel starfighters if piloted by skilled men. A skilled player stepping into the shoes of a TIE pilot can take down 12-20 Rebel starfighters in any given battle using the TIE's agility and heavy firepower alone, and even Rebel players find it annoying when a TIE Fighter tailgates them and blows them out of the sky. So that's both the original canon movies and some very good video game examples showing how TIEs can be devastating against their enemies, and they usually come in large numbers. There's a reason why Rebel fleets are mostly hit and run units during most of the Galactic Civil War prior to the Battle of Endor; the moment too many TIEs or warships show up, they know the game is up, and no amount of shields will save a Rebel starfighter from a swarm of vicious TIEs.
ОтветитьLots of womansplaining
ОтветитьIt's the Imperial equivalent of driving through a puddle to splash the guy on the sidewalk. You can bet the pilot was just having his kicks when he flew close by.
ОтветитьLike a god damn f-18 fly by
ОтветитьThat fly-by is madness!
ОтветитьWhen I saw this scene for the first time I watched it with my family and it was connected to speakers with base and I was like omg wow
ОтветитьOne... ONE tie fighter had more "impact" than hundreds of Imperial Destroyers in The Rise of Skywalker.
Andor is heads and above all Disney SW content. Even Mando.
You know the pilot had a good laugh.
ОтветитьThis single clip is far more exciting than anything happening in the Mandalorian right now after four episodes, that’s for sure.
ОтветитьThis show really makes the Empire and their seemingly inferior hardware more intimidating, exemplified with a single patrolling TIE Fighter buzzing the sheep-farmers-but-actually-rebels at max speed with an ear-piercing roar close to the ground, with the helpless rebels having no choice but to cover their ears and duck their heads when they thought they were safe and weren’t being watched.
ОтветитьMy grandfather started break dancing after seeing this scene
ОтветитьMakes me wonder why didn't they just prep the guns underneath the trees, seems like far safer then standing out in the open on the mountain
ОтветитьCan you imagine if it went on a strafing run
Ответитьyou know that pilot just saw some locals on the ground and decided "let's fuck with them" lol
ОтветитьThe cinematography in this show is absolutely amazing
ОтветитьOrgasmic sound design.
ОтветитьReminds me of the Frogfeet flybys we keep seeing from Ukraine.
ОтветитьAs terrifying as a stuka sound in dunkirk
Ответитьin other SW media, TIEs are cannon fodder, doesnt seem to be scary and easier to eliminate.
in Andor its a constant threat and MENACING.
When this happened I rewound the show and played this over with the speakers maxed. This is Star Wars
ОтветитьGotta say tie fighters would suck for stealth missions
ОтветитьThe sound is similar to the Luftwaffe bombers in WWII, terrifying sound.
ОтветитьThis is the most terrifying depiction of a tie fighter ever adapted on screen. This show truly is a hidden gem and wish more people see it.
ОтветитьWith a history of high speed passes over five air control towers and one admiral's daughter!
ОтветитьI can imagine the TIE fighter being a fighter jet and it would still get the same reaction from the characters. That's just how good it is.
ОтветитьThe sound of the Ion engine
The colour and sounds of the lasers
Dozen of different designs each more deadlier then the last
I love the TIE series
love the scream of those engines
ОтветитьThis scene is incredibly underrated. It gives so much "weight" to vehicles in a way thats different than other movies/shows.
ОтветитьProbably the coolest scene Star Wars has given us since Rogue One
ОтветитьFor some ever reason this gives me Top Gun Maverick vibes
ОтветитьMandalorian - Makes AT-ST Scary
Andor - Makes TIE Fighter Scary
Can't wait to see what's next
It’s crazy how jet fighters do such things in real life, either to frighten citizens or just to show off. In 1998 in Northern Italy two American fighters were doing this exact stunt for fun and cut a cable car rope killing 20 people.
ОтветитьThat’s fking awesome
ОтветитьThis scene is one of the best scenes in all of star wars. What a brilliant series.
ОтветитьI can say with firsthand experience that this is exactly how it feels in real life to have a fighter jet soar right over you! This scene is an outstanding example of how Andor approaches a more realistic experience of the fantastical setting of Star Wars.
ОтветитьAsshold 🤣
