I literally was disappointed in her death scene. I hayed her so bad I wanted her to suffer allot more before she died...... However I did start singing Ding Dong the witch is dead when she died...lol

Just as in legend source material, Merlin kills Morgana.

Merlin could have opened up to Morgana and changed her for the better, all she needed was to be understood. Of course merlin has a mission to full fill but it was ultimately his biggest mistake, Arthur might still be alive by the end as well.

Just watching the repeats again, on Freeview Pick, and have to visit here now and then to see Morgana killed, as she is so evil right now, I just can't wait. Must be the third time of watching this series, and I never get bored of it. Whoever was responsible for casting the characters, well, I can't imagine they could have chosen better. Each one so suited to the role.

The tragedy of this is like Anakin in Star Wars, she's a good guy but because of the story you know she's destined to turn evil

I seriously hate what they did to Morgana. She was so sweet and caring that she turned into some kind of twisted evil, witch

Destiny has been fulfilled. Merlin was her destiny and her doom.

In my opinion the way Morgana gets taken out in the end is very anti climatic I would have liked to have seen a magic duel between her and Merlin but instead she just gets stabbed with the sword and that's it an underwhelming end for the series main villain

Imagine if she gave him a piece of paper “what’s this?” “It’s a list of all the people you could’ve saved if you did anything besides wait for me to make the first move, wait here I have a bunch of more pages.”

I didn’t really like this at all, because of two reasons first of all Merlin put a spell on Excalibur is making Arthur believe that he was the true king of England

However, with Morgan’s death, I was expecting a little bit more dramatic scene

I love Morgana and how powerful she became

Not even Merlin possessed enough power to beat her in the end he had to use the element of surprise,

Morgana was so wronged through this show

Love how it was so easy to kill her after everything

She had it coming

She had it coming. Merlin been saving her since the beginning, even when the dragon told to get rid of her.
Even when she was close to death he saved her despite the prophecies but she still went mad.

The penetration we all wanted to see.

My biggest pet peeve for this show is that Merlin had soo many opportunities to tell Morgana that he was a sorcerer and that she had powers so much bullshit couldve been avoided.. i know that it was pretty much for plot to have a big bad in the show for a twist but still it fucked me up just seeing her get to that point of just pure hatred and darkness and also the fact that they were all so close in the beginning.

In my honest opinion this is when Merlin should have called Kilagarrah so they could have got to Avalon in time.

I love how Arthur just gives up on being surprised because literally everyone around him either betrayed him or died

Everyone in this show pissed me off ngl

I hated this ending.
If they killed off Arthur I would've preffered if Gwen found out she was pregnant with Arthur's son at the end even with Arthur gone. And that Merlin and Gaius were checking on each other through Letters.
Or have Merlin return to Camelot as soon as he finds out Gwen has a son and show us the future were Merlin is always at little Arthur's side and guiding him throughout his childhood and Telling him stories about his dad and their adventurers.

Merlin was always one step ahead of Morgana, I liked it very much in this series, usually the main protagonist has to develop his potential all the time in order to surpass and defeat his arch enemy.
In this series it was the other way around
magic, an enchanted sword, taming a dragon, all Merlin had mastered long before Morgana and even surpassed her in some respects.

Her death was fast

I am just happy to know that I'm not the only one in the Morgana haters community, but I'm sad there are only a few of us here.

It fell more like a mercy kill to me. Merlin destroyed everything Morgana worked for and humiliated her beyond belief. He also saw that there was no saving her and if he lets her go, she will try again. He had no choice but to shank her with excalibur. As I watched the show, I realized that while Morgana, was not always evil, she was destined to become the evil witch. Merlin might have been the final nail in the coffin but uther created the circumstances that turned Morgana evil. Fear and hatred for Uther made her fall to the dark side. I also watched the episode where Morguse summoned the Nazgul and used the sleeping spell. Morgana willingly agreed to help Morguse destroy camleot, knowing that her friends will die as well. Merlin had no choice but to kill her. She was already evil by that point, merlins choice just made her fall deeper into the Abyss.

WHY DOES EVERYONE I LIKE DIE?!!!

She talked about the prophecy that Arthur would die by Mordrid's hand. I really wish Merlin had said something like, "remember Morgana the prophecy said you'd die by my hand." And then stab her.

I'm doing a rewatch and had to come see this scene because Morgana is pissing me off 🤣 I just finished the episode where she tries to get Gwen killed. If Merlin was smart he should have put doubts in Uther's head about her having magic too. But I know it's a show so that couldn't happen.

I swear, I've never hated another TV character more than Morgana.

Well I love the story process of turning evil honestly you’re still just breaks my heart. Because when you watch the first season they were best friends. And I feel like she turned evil out of a series of unfortunate events. My come on King Arthur made a bunch of stupid decisions. He should have never burned modred love. And Merlin should’ve helped her way earlier and she never would have turned bad.
