I hate this depiction of Anne Boleyns death since most people said she met death bravely.

"Wolf Hall" was one of the best dramas Masterpiece Theatre has had. It truly made you feel, and think of what those days, and people (and laws) were like. Excellent performances all around.

Queen Ann Boleyn was not innocent either. She tried to do harm to Queen Catherine and her daughter Princess Mary. Karma actually exist. If you try to do wrong, it will come back to you somehow. Same thing happened to Cormwell. Only King Henry VIII did not get punished in this earth as he was supposed to for his deed. Probably he is getting punished now hereafter.

I think I would've dropped dead of a heart attack almost immediately after stepping on the scaffold knowing what was to come. These people had balls of steel.

If this scene is as it happened I wonder if Anne Boleyn really believed that line of bull about the worst tyrant in England's history.

the blindfold was a good idea (although a bit long) in my opinon I wonder if she had a pillow to to kneel on and if she was also in stockinged feet I had read that the condemned had their shoes removed before execution to give to the poor....just wondering.

First time I saw a Claire Fou performance. Wow. Just wow.

Anne Boleyn really was innocent because the trial of her supposed “Adultery” was basically rigged by not just Cromwell but Henry VIII himself because he was just done with Anne and wanted to get out of his marriage with her.

It was already bad enough that he had an affair with Jane Seymour behind her back but he also orchestrated her execution as well AND THEN marry Jane LITERALLY the next day! An with him being head of the Church of England, basically Henry could do what he wanted without the Pope or the Holy Roman Emperor getting in his way!

In my opinion, Claire Foy and Natalie Dormer are the actresses who portray Anne Boleyn the best. Claire Foy was more accurate when it came to the execution. Her acting here was amazing and said to be the most accurate when it came to Anne’s execution. Even the costumes were accurate. Natalie Dormer was more accurate with Anne’s personality. When i see her act I see Anne and I see how she really had an impact on Henry. She portrayed Anne’s personality and intelligence the best out of any.
Well done to these actress!!

The Netflix movie The other Boleyn depicts Mary Boleyn standing in crowd, with a last minute letter from king Henry. Is that not historically accurate?

Her death was quick, her tormentor’s death was bit by bit…stinking with gangrene leg, died painfully as a fat slob who could not even move by himself! Guess thats what is Karma!

I havent seen wolf hall but i did see the Tudors with Natalie Dormer in the role of Anne Boleyn. Her execution in that series was also hard to watch save for her speech whici was slightly longer and a tad bit different.
