the problem is very very quite usual, newer technology on untested bed platform, a morale does exist of so called Murphy's law: if something not going to work, for sure not working.
..but many interest ( corporations) and bad made decisions of biggest Admirals makes this happen.

Because it's stamped out a Reynolds aluminum wrap... its Junk...
Nothing on it works or is always breaking. All the anti-submarine warfare packages never work. Every package I've ever put on there is never worked. Millions of dollars of engineering personnel onboard with laptops can't figure it out... Simply junk.
Take it to a aluminum recycling center to try to get some money back.

I feel like instead of scrapping the design the Navy should make some major updates and covert the LCS class ships into proper corvettes to march China’s corvette fleet.

For a Navy to be effective, you got to have multiple different platforms to be lethal in ship combat, plus, be tough enough to be blasted by continuous bombardment of shelling towards it, CAN IT FILL THESE ROLES OF COMBAT TOUGHNESS AND LETHALITY OF A BATTLESHIP, YES, TOUGH AS A WWII BATTLESHIP!!! Yes, every ship has to be battle Hardened to the Core!!! Bring back THE IOWA CLASS Or, DUST OFF THE U.S.S. TENNESSEE BATTLESHIP PLANS!!! That will get things done and kick major butt in the battlefield!!! Thanks 👍.

Imagine if you filled that rear deck with VLS cells. All of a sudden, you'd have a small ship with a hell of a lot of firepower that could be outfitted any number of ways. You'd probably have to remove that CIWS from the roof and launch smaller helocopters from there but that would be a worthwhile tradeoff IMO.

Late stage Roman Empire, version 2.0. The US Navy is a pale shadow of its former self, with no chance of victory fighting China anywhere west of Guam. Inferior numbers, inferior hardware, and low quality crews will result in kinetic military defeat if the US decides to try and relive the WWII experience in the Pacific. 🤣

Not watching this whole thing because everyone who knows anything about ships at this point knows the LCS is a complete failure. The propulsion systems especially. I came to add that after a recent trip to Maine and staying in Bath and touring the Bath Iron Works area and their exhibits at the MMM, Bath Iron Works, pretty much the builder of the LCS, has almost scrubbed the LCS from mention up there. LOL. That says a lot. Not that Bath Iron Works is really at fault, that would lie with the designers and engineers, but they certainly aren't proud of the role they played in it. Thankfully, they're staying busy enough just building their Flight IIAs and Flight III Arleigh Burke destroyer orders.

Littoral is a waste of resources. There are other ways to engage that area, which is less resource intense and contributes to more advance warfare, such as drone technology. Littoral ships are under-gunned, based on antiquated combat thinking, and make wonderful targets for ever advancing drone technology.

The representative from Seattle has conflict of interest, in that LCS is built in 'bama, not Washington, and that's it, that's all. And how silly, there are dozens of islands around Seattle and the coast to Alaska where LCS is designed to operate.

Its shows who had the better lobbyist. In the past, if something had even a little chance of interfering with the National Airspace it won't be allowed to operate near an airport. I guess its more important for people to watch cat videos than an airliner landing in bad weather.

It's a wise decision -- to spent your money multiple times on the "wrong ships" so they can afford bigger yachts to impress chicks in the summer.
