Ответитьis he supposed to be making cuts with the miter gauge and fence together?
ОтветитьA trapped cut is never a good idea
ОтветитьGood way to loose some fingers you don't need.

ОтветитьWhat’s the name of the machine?
ОтветитьNever use the fence AND miter gauge together…..when making thru cuts. However, since he was not making a thru cut, his technique was perfectly safe.

Ответитьแล้วทำไรยูอ่ะ
ОтветитьSo many people commenting about how you're not supposed to register the workpiece against the fence while using the miter gauge. While this is mostly true, there's actually no harm in registering the piece against the fence while using the miter gauge as long as it's not a through cut, i.e. like is done in the video, dados, etc. Because they are not through cuts there is no chance of the the off cut binding between the fence and work piece which would otherwise potentially result in kick back. Stumpy nubs made a video about it if you don't want to just take my word for it :)
ОтветитьBro get a router table.
Ответить:😀
ОтветитьLooks like someone wants to play kube?
ОтветитьWhy not do a full cut, does it fly and hit the wall if you do?
