I did watch Rubi and it was something. But no Rubi she is a lil bit browner. Some are pale. The only thing that separates pale Latinos vs whites it's the language

Many drama students in Mexico are out of luck if they do not look European. The major roles in Novelas are for light skinned characters. The darker roles are for minor characters such as maids and ranch hands.

They're white because Mexico is making most of the telenovelas, we see on American Spanish TV channels and Mexico doesn't have as many blacks compared to other countries. Duh why is that hard to get???? The majority of Hispanics in the U.S. are Mexican too!!! Afro Latinos only make up 12% of all Latinos!!! Don't get how this video starts off by trying to make it seem like most Latinos are afro Latinos?? They're not!!!

If anything, you should have replaced those actors in the beginning with native actors. That is more of a reasonable question. Mexico has many natives so they should be promoted more not afro Latinos!!

I think is because they brought the cinema/theatre in Latin America, we know know how native Americans lived before the colonization or how Africans live, and it wasn't bad but different. Also there is something else, the rapid population growth does not include the whites, white people are the fastest declining and are only 7% of world population, while the other races/colors are rapidly growing, therefore I guess the others are taken for granted. I also think Native Americans and Blacks are less attractive than Southern Europeans, but this is my personal opinion (which I am allowed to have and say), however, historically in Latin America many have thought just like the same.
