Isn't the ideal range 27-28?
ОтветитьI'm new in this game and not a very good at set-ups, so I have a simple question: Here you say tire pressure should be in between 26 and 27. In other videos they say the best tire pressure is 27.7. So what is true? It is a big difference.
ОтветитьThere was a bunch that I didn't understand, but I am able to follow instructions so thanks for the video!
ОтветитьI find I have problems with minor overheating around certain tracks when I get a large fuel load, or they start to be a little lower than I'd like later in the stint, or after the next stop. These issues for me aren't on all 4 tyres, usually more of an imbalance between the fronts and rears. Adjusting your brake balance mid stint can balance out the temps between your fronts and rears. I use the SF1000 wheel so I get live tyre temp readouts, which was very useful around cota where my second stint had a difference of 10°C between the fronts and backs. Little adjustment on the brake bias and the car started to feel much more comfortable to push through the first sector.
ОтветитьTruth is if you are slow, it's 99.5% your driving style and 0.5% your setup.
ОтветитьYou were right (long time viewer here) it was about time I press that subscribe button.
ОтветитьThis setups, do I have use to every cars in ACC? I AC same setups will by works the same?
ОтветитьName of the car pelase
ОтветитьAny tips to stop the ass pack in the first corner?
ОтветитьPersonally, I prefer a lot of understeer in aerodynamic grip and a lot of oversteer in mechanical grip. So I run negative rake and no front roll bar with maximum rear downforce. It works really well but every now and then if I slam on the brakes up a hill and get too aggressive with the wheel the whole car slides off the track. Should I increase the rear bumstops to make the car more stable or what?
ОтветитьI autoclicked the thumbnail thinking it was a vinwiki without looking at it hahaha that green caught me. I'm all for this though, time to check it out
ОтветитьThank you for this I gained seconds on my first changes with a poor lap, I would love an in depth explanation on how to make a professional setup
ОтветитьTolles Video und super Zusammenfassung. Die Tips zum oversteer fixing haben glatte 2sek von fast allen Lap times abgezogen. Vielen Dank. One new subscriber :-)
ОтветитьI'd say if the tires are constantly over heated, you need a driver mod. Make sure you're not over-driving first.
ОтветитьTuning is like having a girlfriend.... it's complicated. The game should come with a race engineer and a strategist that can adjust your settings based on your feedback and telemetry.
ОтветитьBro convinced me to subscribe at 2mins, give him a raise.
ОтветитьActually, I’m doing a good setup for all tracks for the audi r8 cause this car is more difficult to handle. Its rear is unstable on corners and this car doesn’t like Apex. It’s a tricky car but fast.
ОтветитьI never wanted to be the engineer, mechanic or in a pit crew. That said I need every morsel of beginner knowledge I can get. Thanks for making a concise, common sense guide. It really helps.
ОтветитьI loaded ACC on my PS5 last year and was so frustrated with it I stopped trying to find playable setups. When I saw the 1.9 update was coming to consoles I decided to try again. I found your videos before I jumped back in and all I can say is, wow. I went from frustration to being able to slowly work my way through some useable setups. I spent a couple hours yesterday and am so pleased with the progress I am making thanks to your very useful and clear tips. The biggest tip, slow down and adjust slowly. I think I was changing far to many settings previously and now you have given a great map to achieve results.
Ответитьare the pressures also correct for ps4 or is it still 27,6 on ps4?
ОтветитьI really don't think that pressure affects heating at all. There is nothing in the tire modeling to my knowledge to produce such an effect. There is also not "more grip" at lower pressures in the ideal range; what you get is what you get. If it's 99% at 26psi then it's 99%. I don't think ACC has added longitudinal grip increase below optimal lateral pressure and they just didn't tell anyone.
While you're right about lower pressures being less responsive in ACC, as the peak slip angle decreases with pressure, this trend is also reversed from any observable real tire trends, so really it should be the opposite. If it's realistic it's also subtle enough not to matter with ACC tires that never really go over temp or over pressure.
👍
ОтветитьNo driving assistance no artificial intelligence no auto braking to help new players
ОтветитьGames shouldn't be this technical and difficult to play. This is why some of us don't even bother buying racing games. Spending more time trying to figure out the settings than actual racing is a big time deterrent. And that's just for 1 track.
ОтветитьYou know what would be great for part 2?
Have a PDF with all of these tips written down so we can quickly get the info we need “in-game”
Thank you so much for the video!
Cheers
wait, there are people that use the Nissan?
ОтветитьSetting the front wheels at 26.1 and the backs at 25.8 will make the wheels hit the perfect psi and if they get to 27+ ur only gonna get a little more grip its litterly THE best psi to use trust me i have tried over and over
ОтветитьWith this guide I beat the 100% AI for the first time! Lol… great video!
ОтветитьThanks so much for making that clear I will certainly put this knowledge to use. I am having all the above issue and looking forward to applying there tweaks. 😊
ОтветитьThanks for set up tips. To be honest I wish there would be an option to lock the default setup for ALL race participants to see who is truly the best pilot. On occasions I would love to give it a go on race like that. Having a good setup, paid one, shared with friend or made by yourself can make too much lap time difference versus default setup or even amateurs poor setup. If setup can make car handling easier and race safer for everyone I suggest to share a good setup in our 10tenth racing community.
Ответитьwe have alien :) , got MOnday nice video and thank
Ответитьeven as a pro-am driver on acc here. like mostly .4 secs off the WR driver , i learnt new things in this video haha thanks mate
ОтветитьShared👍
ОтветитьWhy cant racing games have a good setup for each car from the start,i hate tuning and upgrading,i just want to race.real race drivers dont have to faff with this stuff, they have a team for that.
Ответитьhow to make faster in the straight? And what should I rebuild from qualy setup to race setup? I always kill my tyres..
Ответитьa few tips for Keyboard players ?
ОтветитьThank you for the advice it help me alot now
Ответитьamazing my lap times almost 1 second faster now thanks
ОтветитьGreat explaining 👍 more off these videos, it will help to get better racer and better race's on ACC
maybe a video about the different between qalifi-setup and race-setup .
Thanks again 🙏
These were great. I tried a couple of them, drove 5 laps at Barcelona, and set a personal best by 1.5 seconds.
ОтветитьPlease make a part 2
Ответитьwhy this video did not come out few years ago? :) It would prevent my mental breakdowns probably 😆😂
Very helpful, thanks a lot
Nice, well received and need were setup is not my strong point
Ответитьamazing,, thanx very much
ОтветитьMy tip, buy Go or Hymo setups(don't by CDA, they are garbage), lower the back by only 2 clicks, reduce or increase the rear toe and play with the settings in the mechanical grip tab but don't touch the antirollbar. That gives you an incredible lifely car with the balance you need.
Building your own setup from the ground up is an incredible timeconsuming task which, in most times, is not worth it. Go and Hymo cost under 30€/$ for a pack with 1year update garantee. That is relativly unexpensive and saves you a ton of time.
The Hymo setups are more extrem than anything else but gives you the best startingpoint. GoSetups are more stable and better for set and forget. CDA are good for nothing. CDA setups are slow af and cost you atleast half a secound.
Popometer is also a good source for setups but ~5€/$ per setup is to expensive and only viable when you only want to test one specific car/track combo. Also the quality of the setups is a hit or miss thing. On Popometer i bought both good and bad setups.
And for the beginners, don't buy any of the setups! Start with the safe or aggressive setup and learn the car and track. You wasting a ton of money and get no benefit from an eSport setup. Most of the time you are not able to drive the setup which result in unnecessary frustration. When you around 2sec. off than you can start to buy and test eSport setup. eSport setups will bring you 0.5 to 1sec. closer to the pros but to get the last 1-1.5sec is a hard way. Some of us will never find the time to catch up but that is ok. Not everyone is the next Daire McCormack.
I love how everybody uses Nissan for videos, but ain’t nobody drives it!
ОтветитьPlease do raceroom
ОтветитьSometimes change differential is helping to adjust the setup
Ответитьcan you do this video for AM2? stock car in AM2 is understeer af.
ОтветитьGreat! Thanks. Bring more
