That profit is after a $2bn provision on their Rivian investment, without that Q1 net profit would have been $12.4bn so and EPS of $1.18. If Rivian stays in business, AMZN could hit a 2024 EPS of $5, but I'll be happy with $4.4

its a great company, but the valuation is already very high, do dcf and see their eps are along the line of the est. Not much upside, but its good investment if u got extra money lying around imo.

Important to note that the Azure growth rate includes cloud services which is O365 subscriptions as well, so it’s not an apples to apples comparison with GCP and AWS.

The fact that the slope of the curve look roughly the same to me in the re-acceleration implies to me that all 3 providers are highly competitive. Microsoft is not taking significantly more shares IMO in cloud due to OpenAI.

I've been trying my best to load up on AMZN. I think if it were not for recent macro concerns, the stock would have been up so much more after hours today. Strong Buy on AMZN

If the federal reserve wasn’t so hawkish, I would consider buying Amazon. The way the economy is looking. I think there will be better opportunities ahead. There is so much credit card debt, automotive repossessions are up and housing continues to go up here in the United States. And then we have the huge 34.7 trillion dollar government debt. Holding plenty of dry powder.💰💰

I’d invest in this if it weren’t for my own investing rule of never investing in cash rich large cap companies that don’t pay the shareholder.
