ОтветитьThe knee stretch and bend .is a challenge at 73!....so I did for 3counts each leg !
ОтветитьI love how this is structured. After some of the harder exercises the next one is a combination of strengthening/increasing mobility and stretching out from the previous exercise. For the chair push-ups I did a variation I learned in PT, and pushed up on the arms of my chair as I have difficulty pushing from the seat. I still felt it in my arms, shoulders and upper back though! Thanks again for another excellent workout!
PS: after three and a half weeks of doing your workouts I am standing straighter, and can walk around the house without needing my cane! 😁

ОтветитьThank you for this video, I have a herniated disk and awaiting surgery. I've gone from cycling 200 miles a week to being housebound. After 7 months of sitting in a chair I'm now on medication that at least allows me to move. I have become very unfit but started your chair exercises yesterday. It feels amazing to be able to start to get some fitness back. Thank you. x

ОтветитьMy mom did this exercise (the 20 min sitting down version , cant find that particular video now) and she thought she did it well..but she was completely knocked down out for three days and she also had mild fever. The exercise may look simple but you got to be careful and know your tolerance. My mom was only doing some dancing steps from the mother son channel and then she stated doing this and then I had to take care of her as she didn't feel well.
Please just know your body and exercise accordingly.
I'm 74 why would I want someone half my age teaching me ?
You need older trainers.

Excellent workout for this senior, clear instructions and I like being able to choose either the standing or the seated versions.
