No different than any other business owner, we were in the trucking industry for over 40 years, we had to keep working into our mid 60’s and my wife is now retiring from sales at 70, same story different business!

Jr's sister who runs alot of Jr's world and everyday business for him says No from a interview I seen. She did say things could happen but as of now NO. Jr is obviously the final decision maker.

I will admit that I'd love for the situation to arise where the old DEI shops got put back into action and cars raced out of there again, but that's probably asking way too much.

The new charter agreement is only going to attract Private Equity Firms. They expect a return on their investment every year. Avenue Sports owns part of Trackhouse. Gainbridge owns part of Spire. Harris Blitzer owns part of JGR. Fenway Sports Group owns part of RFK. Steinbrenner is looking to invest. All of these firms want a return on their investment. They don't know anything about racing & don't care anything about racing, just $.

I don't think their success would transfer to Cup. The resources required are astronomical, and like Hendrick knows; the team is the thing. Acquiring top tier help wouldn't be easy in a start up endeavor in today's Nascar environment. Senior's was an exceptional case in a different era.

Just my opinion but Dales seems to have alot of things going on in his life personally, and business wise as well has a very successful xfinity team, I think he should just keep it the same for now and enjoy what's going on.

Kelly and Jr has resurrected DEI and turned into JR Motorsports which is carrying out and fulfilling Sr’s legacy and dream…. They will not enter cup and end up like Stewart-Haas and have to close their doors. Killing their dad’s legacy…

It's crazy to me that he doesn't start a cup team. If people could vote for him he would be most popular driver when he only runs one or two races. Sponsors would be there and so would the fans. He talks about it financially it not making sense but I think he is wrong, they would get great sponsor backing and sell more merchandise than anyone else for sure.
