ОтветитьI REMEMBER WATCHING THIS VIDEO LIKE 15 YEARS AGO!
Ответить🐾I'm GlaD There WaS A Very KiNd❤Hearted ChaP Who Tried To SaVe ThaT Unfortunate DoGGy...! Who's In That Abandoned CaR! ALAS! The PooR🐾🐾DoGGie Was SO Utterly TeRRified! That🐕🐩He Or She Was Unable😓😫😭To Be Rescued!
ОтветитьWhy is this so eerie and disturbing
ОтветитьI watched it in my class, and I had the feeling that this video is so eerie.
ОтветитьWell done Leon Moisseiff......
ОтветитьYou can't let a fat guy dance on there.
ОтветитьPoor Tubby the dog! What an incredibly lousy way to die!
ОтветитьPerros hijos de puta
ОтветитьAeroelastic flutter be damned.
Ответитьmy physics teacher showed this to the class, and someone said "imagine driving on that while high"💀
Ответить建設途中で設計に無理があると気付かなかったのでしょうか?
ОтветитьCame here after my physics Coaching
ОтветитьThis is the year 2023 and im still watching this. The most terryfying thing 😢😢😢
ОтветитьLLS Students....😊
ОтветитьI remember this video disturbed the shit outta me as a kid
ОтветитьCreepy
ОтветитьHow long was the bridge shaking like that b4 collapse
ОтветитьYou had one job cameraman.
ОтветитьThis is so oddly disturbing. The way that shit moves still gives me chills after all these years.
ОтветитьApparently making bridges out of jello is not a strong design choice
ОтветитьI don't get the Risk it all for the dog in a car. Where's the dog?
ОтветитьPoor dog! 😢😢
ОтветитьThis bridge was terrifying
ОтветитьThis video made me cry when I was 4.
ОтветитьI go over that bridge once a week and it's still scary. At one point in the 80's the two lanes of eastbound traffic added a third lane for rush hour. The left hand lane of the west bound traffic doubled as a third lane going east. Cones were placed to divide the traffic. Insanity. Only in Tacoma.
ОтветитьWho the hell left a dog in the car!
ОтветитьI have gone over the bridge many times. MANY times. The new bridge is fine, and by now I have no problem going over it because I know it’s stable. All bridges sometimes wobble, but the galloping Gertie bridge was really badly built, as you can tell. For the dog tubby, he he has his own dog park named after him close to the bridge. 🥲
ОтветитьI can't stop laughting when watching this video because I remeber the first time I saw it was during my physics class, and as my teacher explained the subject and what happened on the even she was saying things like "so it resonates and the people walking there were like ~~must get off the bridge~~ :)"
ОтветитьThe Tacoma Narrows Bridge, when steel gets replaced by pride.
The dog that guys tried to rescue was too scared to leave the car and ended up dead when the bridge collapsed.
An earlier example that Government is the worst way to do anything.
ОтветитьJuly 1st: Happy 83rd birthday! 🎉
ОтветитьPOV: you’re watching this because you’re taking an engineering merit badge at summer camp.
ОтветитьOn the 40th anniversary of the collapse, they did a piece about "Galloping Gertie" on the news and showed this footage. Four-year-old me was scared and had nightmares about it.
ОтветитьTwo photographers were filming the bridge on Nov. 7, 1940. One filmed at 16 frames per second from the deck as the bridge twisted in the wind. The other filmed at 24 frames per second from a nearby cliffside as the span toppled into the Sound. Both film clips were converted as if they ran at 24 frames per second. The video of the bridge crashing into the water is accurate; the one of the bridge contorting in the wind, when converted, appears about 50 percent faster than reality.
ОтветитьHow sad it is for us to regard the lives of animals more than the lives of humans. Sick sick world
ОтветитьDude who filmed it has balls of steel
Ответитьwhy poor dog, you stupid...
ОтветитьAn additional fact about this bridge collapse — it turned out that the insurance agent never completed the insurance policy for the bridge; he just pocketed the premium, thinking that nothing could possibly happen to the bridge.
His theft was discovered very quickly after the collapse and he got sent to jail.
wonderful !
ОтветитьRest in Peace to Tubby the dog :(
ОтветитьThat shit is insane.
ОтветитьAbsolutely terrifying and yet fascinating to watch.
ОтветитьWas Professor Big-Balls carrying a classy tobacco pipe?
ОтветитьThe music is terrifying
ОтветитьBro fought against it's fate for 3 minutes.
ОтветитьThat poor dog. Can you imagine the absolute terror that were his/her final moments on this planet? The new rebuilt bridge should've been named after him, even if he had a silly name like Captain Snugglefuzz.
ОтветитьLook, I’m not an engineer by any means, but I’m pretty sure a bridge is not supposed to do that
ОтветитьThat dog was adopted to die.
