Calhoun County Council Meeting, Monday, November 25, 2024

Update from County Council meeting held 11/25/2024:
Councilwoman Rebecca Anne Bonnette

The noise ordinance was unanimously passed on its third reading, expanding its jurisdiction to include the County, not just the town of St. Matthews.

Additionally, Dave Chojnacki provided updates on FEMA's response to recent flooding; he also reported road openings.

Three resolutions were also passed:
- Elimination of Hemlock Rd Crossing
- Commitment to additional capacity with Lake Marion Regional Water Agency
- Removal of properties from the joint industrial park with Lexington County (Farmers Market)

Furthermore, Council approved the schedule of meetings for 2025 and the holiday schedule for the same year.
