In all seriousness though, im a native Louisianian, we have a lot of french culture down here since the French held this area. Just about everyone respects the French though, they're valiant fighters, and sure as heck deserve a little more than what is thrown their way.

I used to think they were cowards but after i learnt more about history i don't think they are anymore and never make jokes about french being cowards

I'm not even French, and I usually always jump on bandwagons that have anything to do against the West lol; but I find this "joke" around French military is usually used by uneducated or they just have no sense of humor.
My nation surrendered after only 7 days (Yugoslavia) and I don't call them cowards, I don't call Denmark for lasting only 6 hours cowards.
