Fallout 4 was awesome the first playthrough. Since then I haven't been able to make it through the game again. Just dont care that much for the story

I remember my last and longer playthru ever as a Minuteman, I got around 40-45 levels only by doing construction works.

My worst gripe about the flare gun, is that it is solid evidence that a grenade launcher wouldn't be difficult to add to the game. Delayed explosion, and even grenade arc on the round. And still no official grenade launcher.

Not sure I really agree with the opening statement. Fallout 4 has some of the dumbest looking and physics defying garbage for weapons. I have almost every single vanilla weapon replaced with real guns or lore friendly mods that actually look good and Arnt total nonsense when it comes to the way it's designed. The only vanilla weapons that actually look good and would be a functioning fire arms if it were real are the double barrel the revolvers and the lever action. Maybe the deliverer altho it should have been chambered in .38 since the real version of that gun is usually .380

I absolutely can deny that fallout 4 improved the weapons. The customization is nice but replacing all the real world guns with Bethesda's shitty new art style designs was a crime.

fun fact: if you're a pussy like me and can attack in any way(rip), you can take out the turrets and camp in the reactor chamber. a way to kill the robots is 2 things i've tried:
1) Molotov cocktails. they explode in a big burst and can phase through the glass separating you from the conflict.
2) Power armor shockwave. there's a little ledge near the glass that if you jump on and land on, it'll trigger the shockwave and damage the robots

i think the weapons are better in the older games

I have a mod that isn't designed to do this, but it lets me convert the ammo in the flare gun from Flares to 12 Gauge shotgun ammo.. so I guess it's a single shot taurus judge.

Probably wrong here but you could have leveled up charisma a lot and then gotten the perks “Intimidation”, “wasteland whisperer”, and “animal friend” to remove some easy fights.
