Using REAL Military Tactics To Win An Impossible Battle!

The door swinging technique is something that was done at the battle of Gettysburg under the command of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain on Little Round Top. Half of his forces held their ground while the other half swept down the hill, like a door closing with the enemy sandwiched between the two lines!

This game is great, there are so many strategies and tactics.

I once won a battle against a lord who had more than twice my troops and practically only elite soldiers.
I put my archers on a rock that could only be climbed from a single rise, a rise on which I placed my infantrymen in defense mode, and I placed my cavalrymen far away on a flat surface, the enemy horsemen and infantrymen charged at my archers and were held back in part by the defending infantrymen and killed by arrows before they got to the top, then I launched my horsemen who took them from behind.
I decimated everyone with almost 0 losses.

I've been using real military tactics to win in Warband since 2014.

I also enjoy employing Real life tactics to win in games like Total war. The Oblique order in particular works wonders in medieval 2 total war and Warband.

I've sunk hundreds of hours into Bannerlord, since close to its early access release, and I'm just now discovering that you can drag to spread the formation out like in the Total War series... fml lol

This is epic me on the other hand... Playing as Khuzait, all mounted, equal number of lancers and mounted archers and then F1 F3 lol

1x vs 2x is impossible?

Nothing like seeing the enemy army come over the hill and you got you shield wall in the dip and the archers behind them ready to start firing right as the enemy peaks. My eye is always looking for that captain. Also got one group ready to flank. Mostly house archers. Like bees stinging every few seconds.

Impossible battle, I’ve won such a battle with only 200 men

very easy when you are playing on the lowest difficulty. Can tell by you taking 2 damage from getting stabbed

Reminds me of the time i was 60 vs 200+ my men fought like heroes and slayed the enemy to the last man. I only had 20 left standing at the end of the battle. That fight made me really wish i could make regular soldiers into lords. Because they deserved it.

seeing how much damge you take and do, id say game is on super easy mode and there is no way to lose.

I dont get that one mod with the posture as if on an actual battle you wouldnt just fall over mid battle i mean jesus

the game is often pure cancer when trying to command troops. i need a simple "unit type, and unit amount" option for placing! the amount of times i've had a good strategy suddenly become impossible to implement because the game changed my groupings or something is ridiculous! and when the troops are larger than the max rendered, the way the game adds in the reinforcements goof things up too. and archers getting randomly added into my infantry lines.. and coordinating with allied AI is simply impossible, and that kills me inside to watch an army that can change the tide of battle so easily just walk right past me and let an easily defendable position fall.

I realized that taleworlds really needs the nerf khans guard they are just ro op.

Honestly, beating that sized army is pretty easy. All you need is a ton of archers. Lol

Are these vanilla troops? I don't remember seeing them before, did they update the vanilla troops or is this a mod?

Note this only works for pc' console wont load more than 80-90 troops on both sides

Are they all human players or are there NPC-ai/bots?

Im trying to find a tutorial on how to change formations during the fight and use that to win battles but nobody sofar has even mentioned which keys that are using,helluva frustrating.

I would say that hill won the battle, not your army. Extremely lucky to spawn there. In my games its always the AI who gets the "advantage part" of the maps, doesnt matter the numbers or my tactics skill(which supposedly helps with map placement being in your favor according to the mindless fanboys in reddit, pfft).
