Why doesn't Shelly work natively with Apple Home?

I only have one ? everything today seems to work from a phone which is great ,however can I use the shelly components with a Mac pc ? if so what program is available

Since forums nor reddit have been helpful, maybe you can help. I have a Shelly 1 that activates a siren in case of panic. I've gotten it to work as a doorbell buzzer, by configuring it to auto-turn off in 0.5 seconds. So, when I press the button, it signals the alarm siren to start, and then it remains on until I press the button again. This is the way it should work, so I have no issues with that. Were the problem arises is that after the 0.5 second delay the light on the shelly or Alexa or Google turns OFF even if the siren is still blaring. If I press the button again it send the pulse and stops. In other words this is not a switch with an on/off state, but a buzzer that you press once to turn on and once to turn off. How do I set up the Shelly 1 to send the 0.5 second pulse and indicate it is ON until it is pressed again? I would really appreciate your help guys. TIA Alex

These look like they would potentially help my setup in my new to me house. A 50's build with a couple updates here/there. I have switches that control outlets, but have a ceiling fan+light un-switched. Seems I could pair these in the ceiling with a smart switch to wirelessly control the light without having to run a new wire to the light in the fan and leave the outlets un-switched.

I really like your videos. I don't want to use a lot of time explaining all the reasons why but, know that I do. I have watched this video several time because I really like the idea of a shelly dimmer on an extension cord. I went to buy a shelly dimmer to rig this up however, I can no long buy a Shelly dimmer. I can only find the Shelly dimmer 2. There are some difrences. I was wondering if you have run the SD2 on an extension cord and if so could you explain the wireing? Thank you!

Im looking to make my office ceiling fan smart or able to control it remotely. I only have a single light switch to the fan witch only supplies power. I would like to be able to control the light and the fan depending on the time of day and temp in my office? Is there any way the Shelly device would work for me?

I've got a Shelly Relay idea!!! My Thermador gas cooktop, in my kitchen, has a 120v indicator light when a bank of burners is on. More than once, I have left my house wondering if the cooktop was on!!! How about using a relay that, when powered, AND when Geofencing notices that I am not in the house, sends a text command to my phone saying that a gas burner is ON? Which relay would be best for that?

In Canada the shelly devices are 6x more expensive than sonoff. So that's definitely a stretch from comparison ... :(

What I’m wondering is if you can setup a Shelly dimmer with two different switching devices attached to the entries. So for instance on 1 comes a motion switch, smallest pulse is approx 5seconds, and on 2 a push button.
The button is to overrule the motion switch and to use the dimming settings. Using the Shelly dimmer 2 with home assistant.

So the Shelly 1 PM wouldn't be good for using to simulate button presses? i was following the garage door tutorial but i thought the shelly 1 pm would be useful for hte voltage and temp gage, but if only the shell1 has a 12v mode then I need to return the shelly 1 pm?

Does it keep constant power to the light if you turn the light off at the switch? The problem I have (like many other people) is that if someone else at my house turns off the switch then my automations won't work so I was wondering if this Shelly device would solve my problem. I know that actual smart switches can do this but I don't have neutral wires at my house so I can't have them. Unfortunately, Lutron Caseta would be an option which doesn't require neutral but it's not certified for Australia.

Does the Shelly 1 support detached mode?

So if I want to keep smart bulbs powered but allow the use of the wall switch for people that don't listen to me, do I use the Shelly 1, PM or 2.5?

I saw that you had Shelly videos and knew you’d break it down well and you did. I was stoked about the innovelli switches because of being able to disable the relay but these may be another solution

Is there anymore support for US based no neutral wiring? I have an older home and this seems like a cheaper option for me than a bunch of Lutron switches.

Say... Since you already did your own DIY Smart Curtains, would you happen to know if it would be possible to repurpose a Shelly 2.5 and their rolling shutter / end stop sensing functionality to do a simple DIY Smart Curtains build using a regular motor instead of the stepper shenanigans?

Ordered a Shelly1 to do my Christmas tree like yours. Any instructions on that? I assume it just interrupts the power wire after the foot switch but how will I know which wire is the power wire?

But for simple stuff like light switches isn't better to just buy an ESP8266 with a relay for $1-2?
