Baldur's Gate 3 - How to kill Isobel and save the Last Light Inn

isobel withers nightsong and so on dont appear in moonlight tower for me, I've even cleared everything up to ketherik but they all chill in camp

Is there any point in killing her?

Still works on Oct 24, finicky though.

Don't talk to Jeheira till after you take out Isobel.
Send Halsin to camp before you kill her.
I used darkness, turned of turn based, 1 shotted Isobel on Tactician (it's easy) picked up her whole body (lol), returned to camp, talked to Nightsong, returned back, recruited Jaheira and talked to everyone no problems.
I ditched her corpse alone in one of the rooms just incase. All worked out perfect.

I think the easiest is to kill her standing in front of last light after releasing nightsong. At least you keep Jaheira and her personal quests. You can finish the tiefling and Halsin's quests beforehand, though I think you lose Wulbren as he's in the inn.

Kept Jaheira and Halsin, got the weapon and the slayer form. managed to nab the loot from isobel as well. Only issue was all my companions (minus Jaheira and Halsin) were angry at me, even though i sent them back to camp. Did not affect my relationships with them though and they seem to have forgiven it straight after.

does Dammon still die with this isobel kill?

Dude, this is too round about. I got the two girls to come to camp and go into Act 3. Used my mage cat to attract isobel's attention to where Astarion is. Had Astarion one shot her. Easy peasy. Nice epics and Jaheira doesn't leave party.

Is it possible to kill the nightsong, Isabel, and keep last light inn safe?

This is my second go with the game and I chose dark urge this time and want to kill the nightsong this time for the different rewards bc I saved her the last time. Thx

So far this still works as of October 3

Now I played around a bit and tested a few things and here's a trick i found that can be helpful.

1. If you had saved the tiefling's in act 1 and the kids are in last light inn then Mattis should be a merchant within where you can buy (Or perhaps pickpocket) the cloak of cunning brume which causes a fog cloud to spawn in a 2m radius that also causes blindness when you perform the disengage action and is classed a heavily obscured in vision. When an npc is within that range of the fog cloud they will walk in a direction away from the source of the cloud so if you are patient you could keep spamming it over and over to push isobel away from everyone into an area that no one else is around or can see then only have to fight her alone without causing an all out brawl and everyone act as if nothing had happened.

Side note you can bind the disengage skill to a spot on your custom hotbar so could have it set to 1 key and just spam it like mad, just make sure you move close enough to isobel to make her move away, and another note is if she is no longer moving when spam the fog near her just wait a bit for the fog to disapear then she should be able to be moved again.

2. If you don't want to kill halsin either do the method above or complete enough of his quest to purge the shadowcurse that he would be a follower and then before entering the mind flayer colony have him in your party, once done and in the throne room as in the video you can talk to halsin and then tell him to return to camp which he does not go hostile and acts as if nothing happen.

3. You can recruit jaheria but be mindful as if you remove isobel then make sure you do not recruit her to your camp until you are done with isobel as even if she is at camp and you do the method in my first point you will get a disapprove message for her and if do take out isobel and talk to jaheria after she will leave your camp for good as she no longer is a follower for you, unsure if repeated use of fog method on isobel keep lowering her position of you or the act of removing her life what does it but it something i noticed. But either way once done with isobel you can talk to jaheria and add her to your camp with no headaches.

4. If talk to dame aylin/nightsong and isobel then return to your camp the two will show up there and could attack them at camp tho might be hard to get out being stuck in combat and results vary i found as sometimes non active party members go hostile while other times not, might be which camp location you end up in or some other factors but that i have not tested and dont want to right now.

5. You can still make progress with shadowheart questline and get the spear for sparing nightsong even without isobel present so not messing with her personal story

6. Once remove isobel everyone at camp who you talk to will speak of your actions as if you would had slayed her within the inn but I have seen at least one or two npc still alive in the inn who did not travel to moonrise (Example Danis if saved the tieflings in moonrise earlier in the act if you did not finish the quest to reunite him and Bex together before this point) but the smith I dont see nor the cows as could had left or story script may had removed them but I am unsure so far as will need to find out later tho most of the last light npc are at moonrise at this point.

Now I dont know if this will bug out some future act moments or quest but this is just some points I found out and if I test more or find that unable to do some things in the future that should be able to do then I will put an update (If remember to). But I do hope this does help you all out with a bit of what is possible and what to avoid

You can kill Isobel in your camp: Greater Invisibility — save — Desintegration — go away.

latest patch in my playthrough...nightsong and isobel is completely disappear in act 3,
but i still can hand over nightsong to lorrokan she's mysteriously appear in my camp when you interact with aradin in front of Sorcerous Sundries

act 3 is still buggy, i shouldve kill isobel in monrise and get her loot

trying this right now but it seems like Jaheira isn't a fan of me killing isobel and she left my party when i did this

Killing Isobel is necessary or just for dark urge? First playthrough and i like her

did it a couple of minutes ago, didnt think that it will work, but thanks my heart is at peace now
