I HIGHLY recommend your videos Rachael. WOAH ! It's so amazing when you feel selfconfident I don't say any more , " Sorry I speak little English " . Now I say " Yes sir / ma' how can I help you ? " I'm not shy , nervous or frustrated. Yep! I know I must still keep practicing.
THANK YOU WONDER WOMAN 😘🖒😘😘😘😘😘❤

ОтветитьHello ❤❤
ОтветитьHi Rachel. Learned a lot from this video. Do you have any video on "how to find out how many syllables are in a word?" It would be great. 🥺🙏

ОтветитьThis is one of the hardest but useful lessons; not one is done type.
ОтветитьWow, english has been my second language for 20 years and I didn't know why I couldn't get some of this words right. Now I know, now I get them right.
ОтветитьIt is wonderful this video but it could be a bit confusing for the subtles movements inside the mouth. It would be perfect if you have first a video explaining how the articulatory system works to familiarize students with the specific vocabulary and also a diagram with all the vowel sounds where in "Y" you have the vowels with close, mid-close, mid-open, and open mouth and in the "X" Front central and back position of the tongue. It is pity that this is only teach at phonetic courses at university while studying to become an English teacher. I imitated for years what I listen to in English but the position of my mouth was never 100% accurate and now it's very difficult to unlearned and this is why upper intermediate and advanced students struggle with basic English pronunciations when we have on average more than 5.000 hs of learning practice.
Ответить🌟you are the one ☝️ , I love you 😍 so much
ОтветитьI'm obsessed with your videos! I have been in the states for 10 years, and I have a background in both mainland China and Italy. I always struggled with pronunciation, but recently I was like: "That's it, I'm gonna fix it!" And voilà, I found your channel. I can't believe I just discover you today!

ОтветитьHere you look so cute!!
ОтветитьMy lovely teacher)
ОтветитьI joined the English Academy last week. It really has plenty of well organized material for a fantastic self-learning process. I really admire Rachel and how patiently teaches every single sounds in English. I hope to get a great American pronunciation. Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьAn Eye opening English class very interesting , love it . By the way Rachel you have a perfect nose 10 out 10 .
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьIs she for real
ОтветитьYou are so good at teaching English.
ОтветитьOne thing I disagree with here is I don't think the tongue is involved in the ah sound unless it's combined with another consonant. I can say Ahh without using my tongue but maybe I'm gifted!
ОтветитьI am from Pittsburgh and we are famous for our monothongization, basically lopping off the second part of the diphthong such that Steelers becomes Stillers or downtown becomes dahntahn. I've tried to rid myself of this when I'm teaching but in casual speech I still say I'm goin dahn the hahs to watch the Stillers. Dialects are hard to shake and would be fun to see you address them
ОтветитьThis is excellent video. Slow motion and mouth and tong movements pictures explain well and I can practice along with you.
Thank you Rachel for helping me, your expertise gave me more confidence.
I used to avoid words that I knew I couldn’t pronounce clearly and my vocabulary were limited. Now I can try and express myself freely. It means a lot to me!
Beautiful beautiful 💖 girl.
ОтветитьEveryone can with you speak english with the right pronounciation , but slowly and step by step

ОтветитьYOU ARE GREAT!!!
